Very helpful staff, gave us recommendations of things to do, and restaurants. Get a map of the trolley system.
Note: you can park right in front and leave you hazard lights on. We only saw this after parking at a meter and paying.

We went to look around while we waited for some friends to get off work. It really is a beautiful place. I just wish more things were open. It was rather empty. The art work is amazing. And I would say if they could live. The area up with more to do things to see and listen it would be even better than Nashville. It is much cleaner than Nashville which for me is a big plus.

Parking for visitors center? I’ve read in some comments that you can get a parking pass from the center for 2 hours free parking. If your going to stay more 2 hours bc we want to go the blue plate, check out the market Square and go down to the east tn museum- where would be the place to park (cheaper if possible 😂) We will be going on a Thursday

There is a large multistory carpark right near the market square that we parked in when visiting there. It's on the corner of Wall& Walnut. That would be the most convenient for you , we did go early to make sure we got a park , and had no problems . The rate is reasonable.
We walked to the square, visitors center and all around downtown from there.

My wife mentioned a radio station in Knoxville that has live music at noon and you bring your own lunch. Do you know what/where this is and if it takes place on Mondays?

Six days a week (Monday - Saturday) they put on a LIVE show with a LIVE studio audience from noon until one...and it's FREE! Come join us at 301 S. Gay Street, Knoxville, TN 37902!
