Excellent course, well maintained.
Played twice wonderful views.

32 golfers turned up on Monday 27th June to play. On arrival there where no facilities open, you could by a cup of coffee out of a machine for £4.00 what a joke.
It seemed a problem when we spoke to the golf professional who could not give a dam. After the round we where asked to go outside and be quiet, we are all responsible men, what did they think we were going to do have a party, so instead of spending over £500.00 on food and drink we left.
What a disappointment as I have stayed here before and the service was great.
If they did not want us there they should have said, but were quick to take our money.

Went there to see what the place was like. The course looked quite hilly and not many people playing. I BOUGHT 2 CUPS OF COFFEE AT £9!!-£4.50 A CUP. nO WONDER NOT TOO MANY PEOPLE TAKING DRINKS.

We played the course whilst staying in one of the lodges. Nice course - front nine a bit more interesting and challenging than the back nine but all nice to play, reasonably varied holes. Really well kept as well. The greens were excellent in late October

A great little holiday golf course. The river sneaks in and makes it tricky. Lots of blind shots so easier playing it a second time. Nice relaxed friendly pro and al in all a very pretty walk In the countryside.....but sadly in my case with a misbehaving white ball

Zeer groot hotel,in een nog groter park met een golfparcours.
Redelijk gerestaureerd gebouw met mooie kamers maar met kleine badkamer.
Wel alles in orde , grote douche ouderwetse lavabo en toilet met goed verzorgingsproducten.
Goed groot bed. Een nadeel van de houten vloeren en wanden is dat je de mensen in de gang hoorde lopen en babbelen.
Zeer slecht avondeten de eerste avond. De tweede avond waren we er niet bij .
Vriendelijk en gedienstig personeel.
In het grote park zijn er ook cottage te huur.

Well done Bovey Castle Golf Club your course is in great condition and greens much better than I am use to at this time of year.

Golf course is well maintained, front 9 follows the river, quite difficult but truly beautiful. Back 9 is more open but not without hazards. Played in the Autumn, quite wet but the trees looked fantastic.

Attended the ladies pairs open on 24 September. The event was exceptionally well run with croissants and coffee on arrival. As a disabled golfer the staff went out of their way to be helpful both in parking my car and even bringing a golf buggy to my car. The course was delightful both scenery wise and a great test of golfing ability. A nice meal was served on completion of our round quickly followed by prize giving. An event I will
certainly attend next year. Well done to the golf management of this lovely hotel

Nice course. No two holes the same. Some really tough holes. Lots of water and ditches. Loved it. Changing facilities quirky too!
