Attended morning service with communion. Lovely service and excellent system for the hearing impaired.
Thought I would stop for coffee afterwards. As a future church attendee I found the people distant and the vicar totally blanked me. Coldest reception I have ever received in a Church

We called into St Peter’s en route to the castle. It is definitely not a run-of-the-mill country church. It is unusually wide, and has several interesting features.

Only 8 Communicants plus two priests so half the number from when I went last year.
Great visiting priest who delivered a fine sermon.
Lovely old church full of history and worth an hour out of your day looking round it.

This is a gem, so much history. the volunteers so knowledgeable. A lovely little town with so much to do. Well worth a visit.

Lovely church with so many fabulous kneeling hassocks, embroidered by the local community. Wonderful window too. Well worth a visit.

We thoroughly enjoy visiting St Peter's Church with visiting friends and show them the amazing 'chandelier' which apparently was at one stage hanging from Holcombe Rogus church many years ago.

St. Peter's church is steeped in history and had the old wool merchants of Tiverton when it was a very wealthy town add a lot of the character to it. Thanks to the castle next door it can boast a princess being buried there. Feel very at home there when ever I go there. Traditional Anglican services. No essence.

Well worth a visit, great stonework, excellent organ, the churchyard well kept. Window repairs in progress during our visit.

We paid a brief visit to this lovely church on our first visit to the pleasant Devon town of Tiverton. The church carvings on the facade are spectacular and the interior of the church is very tranquil and beautiful, with a carved wooden ceiling. Definitely the highlight was all those prayer kneelers displayed on the top of the pews, each of which took around 200 hours to craft and every one different, some of them dating back to the 1930s. A lovely church.
