They were closed for Thanksgiving which is no problem because I have been so many times before. Just being outside and hearing the train sounds with no one around BEAUTIFUL. Great fall day with a reminder of simpler times. Take your time and appreciate the way life should always be family, fun and what used to be a way out if you couldn't take it. The museum is very well kept.

Cool, free learning and exploring experience. We were able to climb up and around on several of the train cars and then go into the small train station to learn more about it.

We stopped in since we were in Lynnville. Museum has some displays inside the old depot then you are able to hop aboard and explore the train. We all loved it! Definitely worth a stop with the kids if passing through Lynnville.

This is not a big museum but I like how it does showcase the station when it was a working train station. They do tell what objects are on display. The train outside is a nice piece of engineering. The train engine itself is very nicely restored. I feel that the passenger car and the caboose could use some TLC on the outside with a new paint job and inside as well, with restoration to the lights inside both. Still if you love trains or transportation history please check this little gem in the works out.

Cute little town off the beaten path. Small but interesting trains. Worth a brief stop. Nice restaurant near by.

It really gives you an understanding of railroad travel back in the day. Great place to visit, we truly enjoyed our visit as a family and took amazing pictures!

Lynnville is a charming small town right out of the Andy Griffith Show. Friendly folks and lots of history everywhere you look. The trains are a solid display and all ages will like ‘em. Don’t miss a meal at Soda Pop Junction, especially on Sundays.

Nothing over the top. Free little museum in the middle of town. Some railroad relics and history from over the years. A little local history. You can tour the inside of the engine, a rail car and a caboose.

A small museum, but all for free, and a very nice train free to enter and look around in.
Old locomotive and some open wagons.
So so cute, and the neihgbourhood is just so beautiful!
