I chartered one of these guys boats back in the summer and they were just great. The boat was no super yacht but clean, tidy and sea-manlike. Really nice honest guys to get on with, couldn't do enough to help.
Also if you ask you might get to see the "mummy dance"!

I chartered bravado , the Bavaria 45 for a family holiday as the yacht has 4 large Double cabins which is ideal for my situation . The staff could not have been more helpfull, providing us with everything we needed to enjoy the trip, they even took delivery if our tesco order and stowed it onboard as we had been delayed .

We purchased a voucher for a half day experience cruising the Clyde via third party Itison and regret ever having done so.
Having called Bavaria's offices in Largs several times to make a booking and being told that nobody was there capable of processing a booking, left our details and messages for a return call over a period of weeks eventually the weeks became a month. (How hard can it be?) Then a few weeks more. After spending hours just trying to make a simple booking we contacted the voucher issuer whom were helpful initially but toothless - the merchant refused to accept responsibility for their client's failures as did Bavaria themselves. After a very long period of waiting the company did make contact and offered dates we had already told them were not an option, the old chestnut 'subject to availability' raised itself to float upon the surface whilst the choices were very limited and in my opinion deliberately selected as to make booking impossible e.g. a Wednesday morning when most people would be working and so forth...
Anything to avoid honouring the voucher and no refund was offered.
Had this been a land based business I would have let the matter slip, however whilst any operator this incompetent onshore whose core business is taking people out to sea remains in business I would lose sleep, should something awful happen. I visited their offices in June 2012 and they were closed. From what I saw there, it is my opinion their operators license should be pulled and will be notifying the appropriate authority.
Whilst I have not sailed with this company, we would not be comfortable setting out to sea with them having experienced their levels of less than professional service and skill on dry land. Would you place your life in their hands?
There are other operators in the area - I'd suggest you sail with them instead.
