The park has something for most people. As well as football pitches and tennis courts, there is a putting green and lawn bowling. There is a small lake with boats and a small railway where younger kids can ride. The play areas are well done too and everywhere is very clean. The only downside is the limited parking ( though at least it’s free).

Have been to this wonderful family friendly park a few times now. Plenty to do for children and adults. Bouncy Castle, play parks for younger and older children, putting, mini train, boating pond, cafe/restaurant at very reasonable prices imo, and more.
Shout out to the gentlemen on duty at the boating pond on June 24. Friendly and patient with the children…well done. In fact all staff we had contact with were fantastic. Strathaven town itself is worth a visit in its own right. Go.

This park has something for everyone. Tennis, bowling, putting boating and small track railway. Super play facilities for children of all ages. Great place to walk your dog and see the ducks in the pond..

Lovely park, clean, well maintained. Visited for the balloon festival held in the park. Well organised and great event.

This is a great park to go to. It's clean and got lots to do in it. It's not massive but is good to potter around. There is the miniature railway and boating pond as well as a putting green.
Plenty for the whole family to enjoy.

Although the park itself is one of the best parks I have been too and rated top 10 in uk and won awards, etc, the cafe in the park is selling food at shocking prices, 4 ice lollies cost £9, toasties cost £3.50 each, they seem to think they are in Disneyland! I dont recommend spending a penny here!

Wee visit with my family on a lovely sunny day. Lots to do and see.
For the sporty ones there's tennis and bowling and seemingly putting although never found it.
Good parks for the kids. 1 for the smaller kids, 1 for the bigger kids. I especially enjoyed the exercise park for a free gym session.
Nice to see the wee train still going round too. Kept nice and clean with no rubbish lying around. Fab sculpture area too.

The locals are very proud of their park and rightly so. The boating pond is popular in summer as is the miniature steam railway run by local enthusiasts. My son enjoys the playparks while the walkways are in good condition. There's a small stream with footbridges that adds a bit of charm to the area. The victorian bandstand is quite an attractive addition too.

This park looks beautiful in all the seasons of the year and is particularly beautiful in the Autumn sunlight. It has something for everyone including the new sensory garden and the miniature railway open at weekends during the Summer and on Bank Holidays. We walk our dog here frequently and enjoy meeting other people doing the same

A great place for young and old. The little play park is very good and the new sensory garden is a great addition. The miniature railway was a huge hit with our grandson ( and me)
