hi, i know this is late but might help somebody else - there is a tourist centre with toilets directly at the bottom of the hill, in the car park. and there is usually portaloos outside too which are kept open in lockdowns :)

Hi as most of above have answered, It can be cold, Wet, Windy, even snow can fall or be still lying from winter, Then again it could be sunny (As the saying goes If you don't like the weather in Scotland, Hang on 30 Mins). Wrap up warm especially your feet, Nothing worse than cold feet.

Can't agree. It's steep and if it's been raining very slippery. The path is narrow and if busy very tricky in places. Definitely doable but with correct footwear. Hiking boots. Ankle support. Good grip. Not trainers although many do. Popular with runners who were a nuisance on our trip. Forest. Rocky terrain hill sone steps passing a stream then the hill of the summit which is steep.

Definitely give it a go! We had our 10 year old with us and he found it a breeze. There were lots of children, even younger enjoying the experience too and dogs galore.

Trainers should be fine. There is a minor rock scramble at the top.
