我们通过Luncheon预定了一级旅游套餐，起初我们定了另外一天，但公司把日期给改了，然后给我们送了免费的饮品作为补偿。我们中午12:30从贝尔格雷夫出发，出发前有主菜供应，泰式蛋糕看起来非常漂亮，但缺乏泰国风味。火车开动的那一刻我正好拿着一杯饮料，我当时特别担心饮料洒出来，幸好没有。作为主食的猪肉口感鲜嫩，烹饪到位，还配上了一些蔬菜，味道好极了，饭菜总体来说很丰盛。火车在中途只有短暂的停站时间，差不多只能够给人去上个厕所，公司提前不会告诉你这一点，要等你实际来了才会知道，所以建议大家最好提前上好厕所。图中有一片湖的景色非常漂亮，我们在那里大概停留了45分钟，可以在四周散步享受宁静。那里甚至还有船可以租，也有一个小型火车博物馆，听说里面大概有两公里长的轨道，但我们当时没有进去，所以没有办法评价。回贝尔格雷夫的旅程很愉快，提供了咖啡和慕斯甜点。这趟旅行让人身心放松，感觉就好像刚小睡起来一样身心舒畅。个人强烈推荐。

感觉我们就像是坐在开往霍格沃茨的火车上一样!我们带着比利从贝尔格雷夫一路乘火车到了格姆布鲁克，然后再坐回来。我们一致认为这次经历非常棒。每一分钟都很喜欢。很想再来坐一次，然后在湖边的那一站下车!非常值得一游!!

19年8月2号，我们全家第一次坐火车。旅程很棒，但是售票员对我们太粗鲁了。我们在其中一节车厢里感到不适应，所以我们友好地询问是否可以转移到另一节车厢。然后售票员说不行。所以我们想挤进去。10分钟后，新乘客来了，售票员让他们去了另一节车厢。我们问是否可以转移车厢，因为我们身边有一位老人。但是他们太粗鲁了，叫我们留下来，还恶狠狠地瞪了我们一眼。这是什么样的客户服务啊？这次经历真是糟糕至极。

冬天的普芬比利简直是宰人。火车上太冷了，商店都关门了。什么也没有，寒冷而凄凉。幸运的是我们从家里带了一些三明治和饮料。他们应该在收你钱之前就告知你，而且不应该在冬天开放。对我们家庭来说，这是非常悲惨的一天。

I have been checking PUffing Billy Railway availability for November. We will be there from Nov 8 to 15th. I see tour from Melbourne but we stay in Philip Island, I would like to purchase ticket for train ride only. How can I purchase tickets?

We are considering to visit puffing billy in may with an active 20mths old toddler , and i doubt that she can sit still for the whole lunch (3hourz). May i know what is the shortest trip on this train that we can still enjoy the train and scenery? We will be driving a car so preferably the station should have a parking lot too.
Wondering if we can buy the train tickets on the spot too?

Our shortest and newest journey would be the Belgrave to Menzies Creek trip (9.50am or 10.30am departure times), taking 30 minutes each way, with a stopover at Menzies Creek Station. We have just recently opened the Menzies Creek Museum, where you can explore the 52 exhibits and railway displays from a bygone era, enjoy the Little Toot Café with fresh beverages and small treats and occupy the little one with the Museum's play area. The perfect journey for young families with busy little toddlers!
There is ample parking in Belgrave, and we would suggest you arrive at least 30-60 minutes earlier than your scheduled journey.
While you can purchase tickets at the Booking Office upon arrival, we would suggest booking online as there is no guarantee of available spots upon arrival. We hope that helps answer all your questions. Looking forward to seeing you in May, Natasha!

Hi Gary. Thank you for your question. In order to board the train, you will need to be able to step up onto the carriage. It would be the approximate equivalent of 2 to 2.5 feet from the platform to the carriage step. We also have wheelchair accessible carriages, and a special ramp for those who are less mobile. Hello, thanks for sending through your question. You are welcome to travel from Belgrave to Emerald or Lakeside Station - this is roughly 50-60 minutes one-way. From here, you can explore the Emerald Township or take a walk around Emerald Lake Park.
You also have the option to start at Lakeside and travel to Gembrook if you have access to a car. There is ample parking at Lakeside Station and the one-way trip to Gembrook is 40 minutes.
If you decide to travel from Belgrave to Gembrook, there are many lunch options within the Gembrook Township. It's a beautiful way to explore the entire Puffing Billy experience. This is approx. 1 hour 40 minutes on the train one-way.

At the moment, the Menzies Creek Museum is not open to the public. We are currently working on opening the museum on weekends during the Australian summer. You can, however, purchase tickets from Belgrave to Lakeside on your preferred day.

Many of our passengers travel to Lakeside and enjoy spending time at Emerald Lake Park. We recommend purchasing your tickets online to ensure you are able to return to Belgrave, however, the last train is always the busiest during the day to ensure all passengers return safely to Belgrave.
