It's worth taking a picnic, or enjoying a coffee, just sitting in this delightful park. Obviously no expense has been spared in providing great facilities, which are clean. The green grass slopes down to a small beach area, and I enjoyed an hour or SUPing on the Gunbower. Helps make Cohuna a great place to stop off.

This park has everything ! No... seriously I am not making that up!
✔ A beach
✔ A fenced playground
✔ Undercover BBQ's (old and new)
✔ Grassy areas for picnics
✔ A skatepark
✔ A stunning view
✔ Walking distance to the cafes
✔ Roadside parking
✔ Exercise equipment
✔ Gardens
✔ Shady trees
✔ Toilets
✔ Picnic tables
I think that covers it all... and I am sure you are all over the fact that all these features make it an incredible place to stop and go for a walk, or take the kids to the park, enjoy a BBQ or picnic, or grab a coffee and stroll, stare at the nearby water tower, enjoy some time in the sun, go swimming... um, not so sure about that last one... it certainly looks safe enough to jump in.
