If you want a tranquil place to chill while eating your lunch or just to walk your dog, then this is it. It has a table, undercover area and seats, a short walk trail or a mysterious one further along the reserve river. They sometimes have playtupus nets in teh river too. Heaps of kids and the like jump in the water during hot summer and the footy locals came by to soak their legs after training.
Really nice place to listen to the water run, watch the horses and hear the birds. A coupleof seats along the trail to sit down and even read about the aboriginal significance... car parks spaces as well. So you aware, there is no toilet here.

The reserve is small... with adequate parking for anyone who stops. There are information boards to highlight what the local area has on offer. This charming little place offers a very small walk... again punctuated with information boards... and my cat eagerly walked through the paths as there were no people, no traffic sounds... She tried climbing into a wombat hole and jumped over the felled trees. It's a shame this one is not closer to home because her comfort levels were very high.
I was somewhat amused to see a local lad get his kit off and jump into the water on a winter's day. I asked him if he wasn't cold...to which he replied that it was cold, but he had really pushed things at footy practice the night before. Only in a country area will you get a nice looking young man to strip down and jump into cold water like that.

a registered aboriginal site. it features a short walk with aboriginal interpretative signs. the running stream is so pretty and peaceful. such an amazing spot.
