My wife and I visited this Tourist Information Center when we arrived in Yarrawonga, before checking into the Sebel Resort for three nights.
We collected some maps and brochures.
This place is clean and well presented. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Only a small centre but the bonus was it has a lovely little cafe overlooking the lake attached to it. So after getting you info. go out and grab a bite & coffee.

Nice little information centre with very nice staff who are right up to date with the local area happenings. The centre also has a nice selection of local souvenirs which were difficult to find in town. A nice piece of colonial history is preserved, this being the Victorian Customs building.

Located right on the river, this centre is terrific. The staff are very helpful & there is lots of info available. Also local produce & arts to purchase. Don't leave without a visit to the attached cafe - brilliant, tasty food.

This Visitor Information Center did what it was required to do although the information was limited and not the best range around. Staff were present and offered to assist but we found what we wanted. It could have been better.

The young lady who served us was very informative on the loocal things to do and see. Several places recommended unfortunately proved to be closed. Maybe local sites and farms could advise change of open days and closures

Did not go inside, however the outside is very well maintained with the old paddle steamer wheels, and customs house to look at. Great spot for taking photos of the bridge.

I finished the Silo trail between Benalla and Yarrawonga and headed here...forgetting I was not allowed to cross the bridge. It's ironic that Australia was colonised as a penal colony and here we are in lockdown again. :)
I can't complain... Yarrawonga is an incredibly pretty place to be allowed to visit. The Centre is on the foreshore, so it's a great place to start your trip to the area. I was immediately greeted on Saturday by a lady who was so very helpful. She offered me as much advice as she was able about what was open in the area. She also gave me a few brochures.
I was rather pleased to find some metal ants here... I bought two of them because that is all that was available on the day... I am not sure where they will end up... but they appealed to me.
I also used the toilets here after driving most of the day, as expected, they were very clean.

It was lovely of you to call in to see us, and we are so pleased we were able to add to your little trip.
We are very lucky to be located where we are, and it's unusual times like these that reflections such as yours remind us of how grateful we should be for many things. Thank you for sharing.
May you find the perfect spot for the metal ants :) You shouldn't ever worry about Ant Rid with these.

In Yarrawonga for a week when the town is starting to deal with Regional Victorian visitors, this proved to be a necessary stop. Information was correct and delivered by a very accommodating lady

A bit late, but none the less, yes we do.
At present we have in stock 2 dimensional gold coloured pins with Yarrawonga Mulwala written at bottom of the kangaroo, or pelican, koala or paddle steamer.
