I was part of a large group who stopped in for lunch. The food was well prepared. Server was not very attentive and some of the food was cold. No chance to get it taken care of. Great live music playing while we ate.

I'm sure it is a great bar/line dancing venue in the evening, but unfortunately we did not have a great experience during the day. We came as a group of 10 for an early dinner and drinks. Sat for 30 mins without being served, after going to the bar multiple times to ask for table service. Once we did get service, we were given 3 menus to share amongst the group, a few meals were forgotten, slow service. We felt like a nuisance. Perhaps understaffed, or just not a place for large groups or for dinner.

If you want to experience true Nashville, then take a trip to the Nashville Palace! This is a true step back in time place with wood paneling and pictures of artists of the past. When we were there an artist was singing. He was accompanied by another guitar player. There was no hoopla or "holler and swoller" He was very talented. The food is good. The atmosphere is nostaligic.

Didn't realise line dancing is only on 3 nights a week. Went on a Wednesday night, no dancing and a duet playing mediocre music, more for listening to. Very quiet and not much atmosphere.

Food was average to below average. Music was ok. Place was clean. Atmosphere was good. Waitress was nice. I had the catfish.

Brilliant place. Lovely food and good size portions at a very good price. The live music and dancing is brilliant such a good country atmosphere. Better than down town Nashville and defiantly recommend.
I would say be careful with your tips with Mindy Miller tipped her $10 dollars for a song and gave her lots of options she never sung any of them. She came back with her bucket and said she will play it next time so in went another $7 dollars and she never sang anything we asked for.
Line dancing room is also fantastic a really good place to visit in Nashville

Third visit here and how they have started fleecing tourists, Miller lite $6 I can live with that but $9 for a gin oh dear, to add insult to our pocket an automatic gratuity of $16 for a party of 3 ???

Wonderful honky tonk! Love to go here and enjoy the music. Service can leave a lot to be desired based on when you happen to go in there, so lower your expectations and you won’t be disappointed. The food is great. You won’t find a better cheeseburger and waffle cut fries.

We were staying nearby and decided to drop into the Palace early in the week. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves, so much that we returned several more evenings during the week.
The Palace features live performances, and although the bands and performers are not all well known, most are top quality. We enjoyed a broad spectrum of country hits from today’s country to oldies from past country greats.
Beer and food choices are reasonably priced. Check it out - you won’t be disappointed!

Was here with three other people and we each had three drinks. After our third was told by the waitress she didn't feel like serving us anymore. We were not being loud just there listening to the music and dancing. The waitress was extremely rude. The bartender would serve us still though but we decided to leave. Would not return.

Is there a cover charge? We will be stopping in Nashville for a night right around dinner time (5:00-6:00) and thought we might stop here for dinner. But it is Myself, hubby and 6 kids. I read on an old post there is a $10 cover charge. That's $80 for us to just get into the door before we even order food.

I was there during the mid afternoon and there was no cover charge while the band was playing. I cant imagine that there would be a cover charge around the diner hour either. Maybe around 10PM with a band playing. You should be fine. If by chance there is a cover or its really busy, there is a nice place just up the street called the Caney Fork. Good food/atmosphere but no band. Good $$ for family food. I did not eat at the Nashville Palace so I cant comment on food $$

Are there seats if you buy a general admission ticket to a show like Jimmy Bowen, etc. on Thurs., Sept 14? I am handicapped (from a stroke) and cannot stand for a long time. I also don't want to pay the big bucks for a booth seat. If this works out, I will be purchasing two tickets.

We were there on a Monday around 4 pm and they had music at the bar area. We went next door to the Willy Nelson general store on Tuesday night and you could hear the music. You can call to make sure but they seemed to have music by local artists almost every night.

I would check and find out the numbers of seats ,where it is on the floor or upper level, or a booth. The tables were numbered for the Mickey Gillley with 4 servers and 4 bar staff for all 600 0f us.
