I went out for a drive just to get out during Covid restrictions last June (2020). I ended up in Bulverde and in driving around I stopped at the Community Park. It is beautiful with lots of space for people to walk, play, etc while social distancing. I was able to sit at a picnic table and read for quite some time. It was so relaxing...just what I needed at the time.

I took my Granddaughter there to play while her Mom was at the dentist. So many fun things to do. Then we went to movie in the park over the summer. The local police were helpful in directing traffic and parking they had food trucks and it was a lot of fun!

First time to this park and what a lovely location and layout of the area. I believe it is only a few years old. It is off the beaten path but if you are in the area and looking for a place to have a picnic or enjoy the breeze and let the kids have fun, then check it out.
There is a paved parking lot, two pavilions, nice concrete walkways throughout, clean bathrooms, small water pad with about six spouts and several varied playground and play areas spaced nicely for all ages to enjoy. There is also a basketball court.
They have several nice picnic tables spaced out to the separate areas and they were shaded at the morning hours that we were there.
The area is clean and quiet and away from the city life activities.
Close by is a small plane hanger and there were a few small planes that flew over but nothing real distracting.
A nice breeze was blowing the morning we visited in June and I wished I had brought a lunch to enjoy in the shade. We will definitely return here and kudos to Bulverde for putting this in their community.
