Magnificent - right from making the appointment, changing the appointment, adding to the appointment (which I did all in a span of a few days via phone)….the experience was wonderful. Tiffany was so helpful getting my appointment arranged and taken care of - she overheard me check in when I arrived and introduced herself to me and helped me get settled. I was the last appointment of the day and she didn't flinch - wasn't rushed, didn't try and over-sell me. She was delightful! Liz the masseuse…..ohhhhhh boy. Terrific - if only I could think of another reason to go to Frisco. I wouldn't miss a trip to the Stonebriar Spa for anything. I loved it - loved it! I'd go back, I'd do another massage (try the bamboo one!) and a facial. Perfect - and good places to eat next door after you're pampered.

I booked a full day spa retreat on our wedding anniversary. Unfortunately when we walked in the girls In The spa didn't feel like working. They said the weather was getting bad (no weather advisories to report) and they would cut our day in half. Disappointed we left with out so much as a "sorry". They closed up and went home early.
They should have at least phoned us in advance to say they were closing. But no advance notice and no service.
Goto the Ritz Carlton. There is a reason why this place doesn't rank in top Dallas picks.

After 3 days at a conference, I was able to get the last massage and it was excellent. He listened to my specific needs and spent the time to get to the sore spots. I did the deep tissue for 90 min and it was worth he price.
The front desk ladies were a bit snobby but get to the practitioners and you won't be disappointed.
It was clean and they have plenty of water to keep you hydrated or wine if you prefer.

Best massage I've ever had. Very relaxing. The oil scalp massage is heavenly. Mani's and pedi's are the best. No pain and wonderful foot massage. Staff are so nice and friendly. This place is GREAT! Very nice, clean, relaxing atmosphere. Customer service doesn't get any better than this!!

We planned our day two weeks in advance and the person who answered the phone was incredibly patient and helpful. My four friends and I had facials, massages, and pedicures and we loved everything. The heated beds were so comfortable and the services were some of the best I have ever experienced.
My only complaint was that we could not get our pedicures at the same time. But I think if we had planned our spa day a little earlier they could have done it.
The attention to the details made a difference. Everyone seemed to know why we were there and they did everything possible to make our time special. We loved the relaxation areas and are planning our next birthday celebration there.

Spa visits are supposed to be very relaxing and make your stress melt away but not at Stonebriar spa. Apparently they do not care about men at all. Having visited spa's all over the world, I know what to expect but when a spa doesn't even live up to minimal expectations, it makes you feel like they are cheating you because they charge above average rates. I left the spa angry and more stressed than when I entered it. Here is how this bad spa experienced unfolded. Upon arriving in the men's locker room, I noticed no one had vacuumed it for a while. It was dirty and had lint, string and fuzz all over the floors. Additionally there were no towels in the men's locker room. So showing before the massage was out. Good thing I had just showed. Before my massage I asked one of the ladies for towels. She said I’ll bring them right away but never returned. No one brought any. I get a nice but average massage without any issues. (She was the only bright spot in the bad experience.) After my massage, I disrobe and discover there still are no towels. I put my robe back on and walk out again to ask for towels for the second time. After a few minutes, they finally bring some. I go back in and I open the door to the steam room and it is cold. I go back out to find another lady to tell her about the steam room being off. She says it’s not working very well and she went to fix it. When it did finally come on, it steamed up the room once and then shut back down. This left me cold and wet. Not at all what a steam should be. So I decided to leave. I have to put a towel down on the floor just to get dressed because it is filthy. This is making me angrier by the minute and undoing all of the good the massage did. As I go to check out, the apathetic employee at the counter by herself directed me to another computer where two employees could not figure out how to check out some lady in front of me who got her nails done. This was the last straw. So now I asked for assistance again and for the manager. The manager is not there. Since this was prepaid by my wife, there was no money to collect and no manager to lodge the complaints with. Stonebriar spa provides very poor experience for men and it is way overpriced. They are not clean and the employees do not care about giving good service.

First and foremost, the staff was very friendly and the environment was nice. I received a 60 minute massage with scalp treatment, a 60 minute facial with hand treatment, and a pedicure with aromatherapy treatment. The massage was not up to par and the scalp treatment was odd. The metal tool you see at Brookstone and Sharper Image was used, which I thought was very odd. After the massage, instead of staying in the room, I was guided to a "relaxation area" which is a communal area. I do not find this relaxing. I think that it broke up the relaxation since people are talking and I'm a private person so felt odd sitting in a robe in a public place. The facial was good except she used the Sonicare system, which is a great system, but not something I'd expect to be used at a relaxing facial. The hand treatment was lotion on my hands put into the heater gloves. Nothing you wouldn't get at a run of the mill nail place. After my facial, I was then led again to the "relaxation area" where I was forgotten about. I had to ask the staff what was going on before I started my pedicure. The pedicure was again, run of the mill. Nothing special. The technician was nice but wouldn't stop talking to me. Yes, I could have asked her to stop talking but that makes for a very ackward pedicure. So my relaxing spa day turned into something I could have gotten by visiting a massage parlor, buying the Sonicare system and using it in my home, and going to the nail place next to WalMart for a pedicure. I would have saved a TON of money too since this package was almost $300. But, here's the kicker, I left a review similar to this on the spa website but more in depth and was contacted by the owner. She first left a phone message which I returned but got her voicemail. She then left me a nasty email. In the email she tells me I should sole search and then critics my critics. She then told me I threatened my unborn childs life when I told every therapist I was 5 weeks pregnant and also annotated it on my initial form. She has yet to respond to my response email. I thought leaving feedback on the spa's personal site was what the owner would want since it's a option. I guess the owner only accepts positive feedback so be leary of not giving them 5 stars, you may receive a phone call or email similar to this one.

Nice Spa with a relaxing recovery area and good steam room in the locker room...heated massage table which was nice, but not the best massage I have ever gotten. I felt like the lady just wanted to get it over with. The staff was nice and accomodating however.
