Mi familia y yo hemos ido un par de veces, un lugar excelente para pasar un fin de semana en temporada de calor. Recomendable para todas las familias con niños pequeños.

Visited this place with my friend for a game of racquetball and went around the facilities. Fantastic place for many indoor sports and training.

We drove from Sherman Tx to go to this water park and it does not disappoint. Tons of seating, concession stand for snacks, slides for all sizes and a great lazy river.

Great place! Nice environment! Due to work, I can only visit twice a week. However, they are all pleasant memories.

My family has been a member for the past 9-10 years. It is Frisco's only city run athletic facility. Contrarily, Plano the neighboring city has, I think, four city run athletic centers. I pay $60/- per month for my family as Frisco residents and believe it is significantly pricier than the Plano city residents pay for all four of their centers membership.
Thie FACC does have amenities like a large weight training/ fitness room with ample cardio machines, free classes, two racquet ball courts, two basketball courts, an indoor pool with a slide, lazy river, and kids play pool. It also has a very nice outdoor pool and play area, which opens from labor day. There is a kids club where underage kids can be left supervised while parents workout.
Unlike several private athletic clubs in the area, there is no free guest tickets. Day pass is $10/- even if a person visits for a few minutes. There is no indoor walking path or tennis court or squash courts or adults badminton or table tennis. Next to the weight rooms are some training rooms where free and paid classes are offered. Unfortunately, these rooms have no kick boxing punching bags or speed punching bag.
Weight room often gets real crowded especially with paid trainers conducting their classes alongside others, and so does the basketball court. They keep the other basketball court usually reserved for kids classes or purposes other than members basketball.
I personally use only the weight training/ fitness room. My wife occasionally takes the fitness classes and daughter uses the treadmills. I sometimes wonder if it would be better to join the club across the road for $10/- a month per person and offers only the weight room/ fitness center!

One of the hidden secrets in Frisco is the water park located at the athletic center . It's perfect for to escape the Texas heat and is available for residents and non residents . You can even bring your own cooler with snacks ! The water park is the perfect size for kiddos 48" and under- several slides , lazy river , pool, and all things water . It's very easy to watch your little ones and if you go during the week it's not overly crowded . If you are on a budget , have little ones or just want to beat the heat - this is the place to go !

I can't tell you how perfect this place is for family. My young boys and I went with friends, also with young kids, and we had an absolute blast. The outdoor area didn't open until noon when we went on a weekday, which is a bit annoying since it's so hot then, but it's worth the wait. You have to get there pretty quickly to get a table or chairs in the shade.
My 3 and 5 yr olds loved the little kid slides on the bigger play structure and would have spent the entire day there. I think there were 3 slides for young kids, not sure if there's a height requirement, but they went no problem or questions. It was nice that they could play there without being near deeper water bc I didn't have to stress about safety. There are lifeguards all over the place here and they switch frequently, so I felt very confident that any slips or accidents would be caught quickly.
The bigger 4 set of racing slides were open to my 5 yr old (almost 6). There's a height requirement which he passed barely. He's probably average for his age, maybe even a bit short. Even if they pass the height requirement, if they are under 7 they have to be with an adult. I chose to go with him every time down a separate slide. You can't go as a pair because you go down head first. He absolutely loved it. He's not a real dare devil, just typical and he had a blast, as did I. If you have only 1 or 2 in your group, you can skip ahead sometimes since 4 go at once. Line moves fairly quickly.
Neither of my kids could go down the other two slides, I don't think, because they weren't tall enough but we never even tried so not completely sure.
All the kids also enjoyed the lazy river. There are regular inner tubes and also inner tubes with a bottom so a baby could ride. Our kids all used those as well and loved bumping around. They sell food there as well like hot dogs and other park type food. Overall, we absolutely loved this place and will definitely go again, especially for the price.

Really neat place that has allot to offer. For the price you cannot beat it. Lots for the kids and adults to do, and it appeared to be pretty clean. The only downside that I noticed and kind of bothered me was the long lines on the larger slides. I quickly notified that the lifeguards were very slow on getting people lined up and ready to go on those larger attractions. I understand the safety concerns of allow sufficient times between sliders, but what I saw was over the top.

I've lived in Frisco for 6 years and decided to visit the water park since my son is reaching 4 years old and seemed old enough to go. It was incredible, especially for the price, great for toddlers and I would think not bad for teenagers either. There also is a nice area for younger toddlers, loved it, lots of body guards. It was crowded but roomy I thought, clean and very nice. Considering a family pass because of this visit.
