We were visiting from the UK to see if Frisco was where we wanted to relocate to. It turns out that we fell I love with the place. The staff were really chatty, helpful and generous with the spirits. We chatted all night with locals too and ended up having to be kicked out at closing time, much to our disappointment.

We ran by this place in a recent 5K and were so excited. We've been wanting a wine bar in town and this looked like a great option! Went there recently after dinner for a night cap and were so disappointed. First, no one greeted us when we came in. There are waitstaff but it wasn't clear because no one even remotely approached our table. They seemed bothered that we were there.
They clearly have regulars that they cater to, but since we were new it was like we were invisible. Whatever, we shake it off. My husband went and requested a wine list. First, this place has very few wines for a place that bills itself a wine bar. The wines they do have are not the type you would expect from a place specializing in wine -- there was nary a nice Napa cab in the bunch and a bunch of super fruity white varietals. Eh. We didn't want that wine but had come all the way there so ordered cocktails.
The cocktails are expensive, watered down, and sickly sweet. Not awesome. Once we finally got them (a scowling bartender/waitress begrudgingly set them on our table and walked off) we were disappointed. We won't be back.
It's too bad because the place has so much potential, a great location, and had an awesome jazz band playing. Someone could make this great but not the current owner.
