Visited this specialty shop for the first time recently looking for gorgonzola cheese. Unfortunately they were out of it, but they offered a great substitute. A creamy blue cheese from the U.S.
They are free with anything you wish to sample and very friendly.

My wife and I have been in twice, the staff is always very knowledgeable and very informative about the various cheeses. It has always been a lot of fun to sample new cheese.

My parents and I went here to get some cheese & meat to make our own charcuterie board (pictured) and could not have had a better experience. Everyone that helped us was extremely knowledgeable and nice. We were able to try different cheeses before buying them, and they genuinely wanted to make sure we were happy with what we were buying. They helped us pair different cheeses, meats, and wine based on what would complement everything else. They have wine, cider, jams, mustards, and crackers in-store as well. We will definitely be returning!

Stanzeski's is a wonderful addition to the Georgetown Specialty Shops. I went here thinking that it was a sandwich shop, but it's not. It's a specialty cheese and accessory shop. Much better.
Stanzeski's has a varied selection of cheese by animal and different regions or nations. The counter looked like it has about 20 or so different cheeses. The owners told me that they switch out the types of cheeses every few months. I tried a couple and bought a couple. The cheese is sold by weight.
They also have a small selection of wine. They had a small selection of specialty type meats. Check the shelves for different types of jams, butters and such. I highly recommend the Pecan Butter. It's awesome.
