Texas has its share of unique court houses, and Graham is no exception. Beautiful architecture. Well-kept grounds. Nicely shaded for a warm day. Good side trip.

This is a very historic building with more than just legal matters. There are bits of history woven throughout this beautiful building.

Beautiful Courthouse and helpful employees

I have been to this courthouse many times over the years doing genealogy research for my family. They have a great collection of records dating back to the late 1800's when the city of Graham was founded. They are starting to get a lot of the information scanned in and available online. The staff in the public records office are very helpful and always there to lend a hand. The courthouse itself is a great place to visit, just for the history of the town.

Nice old building.

It's not the original courthouse for Young County, but it is a nice well-built building. It is solid and built to last. The setting is very nice - surrounded by oak trees, a Ten Commandments monument, veteran's monument, and a gazebo, makes it one of the nicest squares in the country.

Great Courthouse and Square

The courthouse makes this giant square. The grounds surrounding the courthouse feature a beautiful variety of trees, so many that it is difficult to view the entire building. There are also several monuments, sculptures, reliefs, and a gazebo. Being a weekend, I could not go inside. A wall of the 1884 courthouse is still on the square and acts almost as a gateway to the square. Great Square!
