It's been a while since I played this golf course and the overall experience was very good! Nicely lay out golf course. The staff were friendly and helpful. The day we played the course was in good shape.

This is my home course that I play approximately, 30 times a year. It is tucked away between Cedar Hill and Grand Prairie, just adjacent to Joe Pool Lake. I love this course, because once you start your round, then you are immersed into well-designed walk or ride through some of the most beautiful scenery in the DFW area. The course looks tight, bust most of the fairways actually play fairly easy. It is also a challenge from the tips, but can play easy to moderate for beginners or seniors. The staff is great, and the clubhouse is a good place to hang out after your round. $45 for weekdays and $55-65 on the weekends. Of course, there are often internet discounts and very reasonable twilight rates. Come to Joe Pool and play a round. I gave it four stars because I reserve 5 stars for the elite resort or historic courses.

Nice layout, good staff. However when I played on 5/21 the staff should have told me the greens were healing from being punched. Don't think i would have come if I had known that. Otherwise I think I will return.

We just adore this course! It's conveniently located in our neighborhood and it's well-maintained, as well as challenging. Beautiful views. We look forward to getting out there nearly every weekend in the spring and summer!

Great course with plenty of terrain and turns that will challenge any level of golfer. Greens were kept in good shape given the time of year. Well worth the money.

Nice course, but plan on a long round. We never get out of here under 4 1/2 hours and it usually over 5. The management knows of the issue, but have done very little to correct it. ALWAYS slow.

Overall nice course. Some spectacular views that make it a unique golf experience. Reminds me of golf courses near Austin.

Friendly staff.
Friendly local players.
We were able to get a tee time same day & $25 is a bargain.
Course is in pretty good shape.
Open holes & some challenging holes throughout.

Grand Prairie municipal course but it is in Cedar Hill. The management have put a lot of work into getting this course on track. The greens are pretty nice for a Texas summer and lately the maintenance has been minimal.
Good layout that will challenge golfers to think about shots instead of using the "grip-it and rip-it" approach. Trees, traps, and water are plentiful so bring extra balls if you are planning on hacking it up.

Consistency is what I like about this course (ease of getting a tee time, pace of play, conditions, shot value are all above average). I like that houses are not lining fairways, and tee boxes, etc. Some nice elevation changes and a few challenging holes. Is open enough on tee shots that a variety of skill levels can enjoy.
