This is a great golf course. Conditions were superb. The greens are lightning quick and as good as any that I have played in the greater Austin and Central Texas area. The layout is full of fair challenges and variety. The clubhouse is nothing fancy but more than adequate. The cart paths are mostly unpaved but are in good shape and are a welcome change from the typical concrete paths. I recommend playing here. I will return.

I feel like I need to comment on Rockin R's unfavorable review of the North Point RV park that has nothing to do with the Lighthouse Country Club golf course..I have lived there for over 2 years and they have been nothing but incredible to me..especially during the passing of my father..
..the only difference between myself and Rockin R has been that I adhere to the rules set down by the park and have had no problems what so ever..as far as the water being shut off..it was shut off because we had an emergency there..a camper had hit and broke a water line..the main had to be shut off until it could be fixed..which it was..later that day..
It is a beautiful place to stay..for any amount of time..and the people who run it..especially Travis..go out of their way to accommodate and make your stay there amazing..just remember that there are many people staying there and that's why rules are in place..so that everyone there is treated fairly..

Even though the golf course is a hidden gem, the management lacks that Southern Hospitality, Travis is extremely rude and you need to watch your cc transactions closely. They also turned off the water to the RV park for maintenance WITHOUT any warning, good thing I was just washing dishes & not taking a shower! Besides being Common Sense, to let tenants know when the water is going to be shut off, it's courteous, and one would think mandatory, no matter the length of time.

I've played Lighthouse a few times. On one Tuesday evening, I was walking and approaching signature par 5. There were three guys in the fairway. I Walked to the tee box and yelled. They would not move. So, I walked up to them and said why are you not moving along. There was an old guy who screamed, you should have yelled. I yelled back that I did yell! He said to the other two young guys (now realized he was giving a lesson in the middle of a fairway) They said we didn't hear him, but our music was kind of loud. Then he cussed me out and said play around. Then I said i'm going to kick your ass old man and went after him. He held up his club to keep me away and I thought how would it look kicking this old man's ass. I walked away he said get the hell out of here. I walked up and got his name. To his credit, He later called and apologizedn and said hehe was totally wrong. I saw him sometime later at the grocery store and made a joke about it. The same old dude would not have it. Again threatened me and again I almost kicked his ass. But again decided he is crazy and walked away. I left a message with the owner. He never responded. This was actually my second bad experience here, Now I play at Hiden Falls in Marble falls, very nice people.

Got a tee time to play 18! Excited about the 18 holes to attempt. I realize the fairways are brownish at this time of the year so it's not a pretty view of what you would expect for nice green, plush fairways. However the tee boxes are a disaster! They are really beat up and hard. Had difficulty getting a tee to go in! The course itself is very scenic and I bet it's beautiful in the summer! The golf carts could be tuned up a bit. They ran rough and the tires were a bit flat! Actually we were glad we got back without pushing the cart. The golf clerk was very friendly and helpful and very accommodating to our requests and needs. I did ask about getting a free burger because I saw an ad on the weather channel that said if you mentioned you saw the ad for Lighthouse Golf on that channel you could get a hamburger after your round of golf. However, the clerk just shrugged his shoulders and never said another word! I guess that meant...no burger!😩

Really enjoyed eating at the restaurant..closed it about 2yr ago. Now was told they don’t have any plans to reopen it..

This is a fantastic course! The greens are well kept and in great shape, the staff is very friendly, and the course is a fun challenge! The carts have coolers and are gas. Some holes have blind tee shots so make sure you ask someone in the pro shop to explain course layout. Definitely worth the drive!

Drive up appeal is a little short of exciting but get on the course and you are in for a great round of golf. The course is in great shape. Beautiful holes! We loved it! Snack bar is pretty basic but adequate. No golf girl but coolers are on the carts. Two driving ranges, a putting green and chipping green. What more do you need!!
