Nice walkable park. Tons of rocks to look at. The river was flowing nicely. You could walk down it a ways. It is picturesque with the bridge up above. When in town we will go back again.

This was a great surprise. We always just drive by and never stopped before. There is some art from a local artist on display. Also we found out there is an annual totem building contest with river rock. This park is on the banks of the Llano River east Bank just after you cross the bridge. Not easy for wheelchairs or people with walkers.

Pretty hot due to time of year but absolutely beautiful. There are fish, snakes, lizards and some cute plants. You can hike to and under the bride and go right up to the dam. We had 2 groups that included kids from 9-15 and all enjoyed it. Great rock art and natural formation. If you have someone interested in geology, this is the place.

We went to the park during the Llano Earth Art Fest. If you have never viewed earth art or rock stacking this is a must see. This year the festival was 15-18 March 2019. We visited on Saturday and arrived around 10am. There was plenty of parking within walking distance of the park because their parking lot was used for vendors. Wear good walking shoes to make it easier to walk on the very rocky beach.

Very best experience. Rock stacking is a must!!! We tent camped. Weather wasn't great, but we had fun.

This park, adjacent to The Llano River, has restrooms, parking, picnic tables, a short walking loop, and access to the Llano River South banks. It is also accessible to the Roy Inks Bridge, a historic bridge across The Llano River in Llano.
There are some benches for just resting and enjoying the views as well.
If you plan to walk down to the river over the rocks, wear comfortable and sturdy shoes like hiking shoes/boots, as the rocks are uneven.
