This is a beautiful location; amazing beach and lovely shallow bay for swimming in the sea. Overall the beach club aesthetically is brilliant; clean, well maintained and even has some Ancient Greek ruins in the grounds. However, two key issues on our visit. Firstly despite paying 140 EUR for a day bed, on entering the beach club we were then told towels were not provided and but were for hiring at 10 EUR per person. Eventually they relented and provided for free. At the very least, I’d suggest it would perhaps have been helpful to mention this at the entrance at the time of purchasing. Secondly, service is really lacking. Despite visiting in late October when the venue was only 20% of capacity, no one ever came to the bed to take any orders, clear away food or make sure generally everything was ok. We saw a number of reviews cutting really poor service and would say this was very noticeable on our visit. Staff also got our drinks order wrong, sandwiches came without any fries and so many of the drinks on the menu were not available. A real shame as we visit many beach clubs across Europe. This is up there as a venue, but definitely the worst we have experienced for service. Do not recommend and if you do visit, remember to take your own towels!

The location of Astir Beach is wonderful and luxurious. However there’s a true disconnect between the Astir Beach team and restaurant staff, resulting in poor service, considering the rates charged to guests new or old.
Astir Beach owners are completely aware of the situation and currently, at the end of Sept 2024, they do not inform you of the poor levels of service. For a luxurious provider, this is very poor not to inform your guests.
I truly hope this does improve or a change in management is needed to address this disconnect

Overall this beach experience was underwhelming. The beach and sea are lovely, but the general vibe isn’t five stars. You have to chase the minimal staff to order anything, and the food was very overpriced and mediocre.

We went on a Sunday. They charged us 180 euros for just an umbrella and two sunbeds. No towels. They told us we had to rent the towels. We tried and there were no more towels to rent (at 11.00 am!) and the beach was almost empty at that time. They said the only option would be to buy towels at the store. That was a ripoff. We would never go back!

Very bad experience. €180 for an umbrella with no towels provided, changing rooms are old, wet and small. The staff is lacking and no real service provided on the beach.

We paid 100euros for two beds which is already a lot just for two beds !!
The staff is not kind and helpful !
The beds are dirty and they are not giving towels for them you have to pay for the towels even if you already paid 100.
The food is not really good and so expensive for what is it.
If you want to have a nice moment in a beach club don’t come.

A big select beach with sections: family,adults only, members...
The sea there is clean and beautiful!
Food menu is not big,mostly sandwishes.
Prices are high.
But it is worthed.

Horrible experience.
The cashier in the entrance wanted to put us in an selfservice area, while the beach was half empty and the entrance fee is 70€ and 15€ for parking;
Eventually we sat at the back even though there were so many empty sun-beds up front.
They serve food in cardboards and coffee in paper caps;
Very bad experience giving negative reputation to astir.
I am part of Astir Marina and so many high profiled clients from four seasons are complaining about the mentioned above.

Today we stopped by this beach to swim and relax. It is so well organized. I got a chicken wrap here and it tastes really delicious. Staff were very polite. I highly recommend this beach if you want to swim here.

If you book a reservation online for chairs, can you cancel? The website does not make any reference to cancellation policies.

I booked through the Plazz app when I went last summer. Very easy...and I was able to pick the exact seats I wanted, i.e., at the water and closer to the restaurant. :-)

If i go to the Plazz app to book the loungers in advance does that also include the entry fee. I am seeing €35 to the reserved area on a friday in may but am worried that might not include the fee to also enter the beach. Any answer much appreciated

When I went last summer it covered everything. All I had to do was check in upon arrival to the beach. Enjoy!
