What an absolute blast! Fun, engaging, and suitable for all traveller types and demographics. Very highly recommend and is not just a class for those that like chilli. Worth every cent.

We had such a great time! The staff were so easy and fun to be with, the food was amazing and that location on the beach! Wow! Can’t get over how gorgeous it was. Everything was perfect!

My husband and I attended the Anika Balinese Cooking Class with Market Tour while on our honeymoon. The market tour was very informative and interesting, with a wonderful guide! When we arrived to the cooking class, they had set up a private table for my husband and I and we were blessed to have a completely private cooking class with the head chef as they'd been told we were on our honeymoon, whilst there was another larger group nearby. The quality of the teaching was incredible, with so much detail shared with us and all of our questions answered perfectly. The quality of the food was absolutely incredible. There was so much food between just the two of us that we couldn't finish it all, and we were so kindly offered a take away box to take the leftovers back to our villa which we eagerly accepted! We could not recommend this cooking class experience more, it's a must do during your time in Bali, you absolutely will not regret it!

Absolutely enjoyed every minute. Picked up from hotel and then to the markets. It was a great experience. The food we cooked was awesome. Definitely recommend this to do in Bali

This class was absolutely awesome!! We got picked up from our Villa and headed straight to the market to meet Jim who was our guide and head instructor for the class. Jim is so welcoming and funny. He was very informative and humorous. The other guides and instructors were very skilled and helpful. We had 14 in our class and everyone contributed to slicing or dicing all the prep and each had a turn at mixing, making, frying, stirring, cooking all 8 dishes. The dessert was demonstrated by the staff as it was simpler than the rest of the cooking.
Wow oh WOW what a feast!! Everything was so YUM! It definitely made you want to cook your own at home as soon as you can! Thank you Jim and team for a fantastic morning!

One of my favourite nights in Bali, with amazing food, chefs, and cooking. The hosts do an amazing job helping everyone, and it’s tons of fun. Would recommend!

In over a dozen visits to Bali we’d never tried this but so glad we finally did. Tommy our host (and qualified chef - so he says) was brilliant. He mixes a great sense of humour with brilliance in his culinary instruction. Some fantastic tips on not only how the Balinese food is prepared but preparation techniques such as cutting. Will definitely do another course next visit as there are 3 different lots of foods to learn about and prepare

How much is your cooking classes and would you pick up from our hotel?

Hey Mary, The cooking class was around 100 AUD each and they do a hotel pickup and drop off.
They give you an apron for the class but you don't keep it. However you get a recipe book to take home and a certificate. I highly recommend it :)

Hi, I am interested in Balinese Rijsttafel dinner at warung Nia. I will be in Bali by myself, so I would like to join another group if possible? I don't think it would be fun to have cooking class alone =))

Hi. I did the cooking class with my sister but would happily do it on my own. They divided the bigger group into smaller "work" groups which was great and all people very friendly and just wanting to enjoy the day and the experience! Go for it!

Hi, I tried to make a booking online and got an email from Anika asking for my credit card details to pay in advance. When I tried to respond and say I didn't feel comfortable sending my credit card details by email I got an automatic spam alert back. Now I'm unsure how to book? Has anyone had this before?

Yes. Worked well. They only pick up via Cookly.me booking but arrange Bluebird taxi for you for the way back if you want.

Hi there,
I don't know what the Aussie dollar cost would be as we paid in local currency through Buffalo Tours. It wasn't expensive tho. In terms of content your father and son would have fun preparing and eating the food that you make, but there is a flight of stairs to climb to get to the cooking school so as,long as your dad is physically able to climb the status it shouldn't be a problem.

Go online to their website is Trip Advisor to book a day or evening class. When you email them simply let them know what you require. The owner and Chef of Anika cooking class goes out of his way to make sure your needs are met. They purchase in all of their meats fresh and not from the local market so I am sure they will be able to let you know if they can source halal food.

Hello. Simply go to their website via Trip advisor. You can book online very easily. The website has their three different cooking classes, so you can choose which day suits your personal preference for food. You also get a 30% discount booking online. It is great value for money and a fantastic morning.

night class 65 US morning class more expensive aroud 85US as you do morning market and spa after well worth going chef/teacher is excellent and you do learn more than just cooking
