Had an awesome visit to Red Caboose. First, we visited the retail location in Clifton for a tasting and purchased several of our favorites. We then took the RV out to the vineyard where we were able to setup in a beautiful setting, and for a small fee we were allowed to hook up to 30 amp power and water! Many deer to see, an incredible facility and as others have mentioned, a very friendly dog to greet you. I would love to go back sometime and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is in the area.

It’s hard to top a pretty afternoon at Red Caboose. The people are as friendly and welcoming as Buddy, the resident border collie. And that’s saying something! Wines are fantastic — we were very fond of the Tempranillos as well as the Zin Rosé. Off the beaten path, but well worth a visit.

We arrived and were greeted by Buddy the dog, very sweet dog! We were shown around the winery and vineyard by a nice lady. Wines were great, with great variety. Wines for all tastes!! Thanks for a great visit!

Very nice wines produced from estate-grown fruit. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The patio is a great place to enjoy a glass or a bottle!

Use Yelp to get your discount tasting tickets. There wines are nice, a bit pricey, but what can you expect for the middle of no where. They ferment in french barrels, two to three times more expensive than Kentucky oak. Nice operation, give them a try.

Had an awesome experience out on the patio......very quiet place where you can relax with friends and sample some delicious reds and whites...came away with several bottles...

Red Caboose is in a beautiful setting, has some great wines, wonderful stage and outdoor patio but our server could not have cared less that we were sitting waiting to taste their wines. Finally she left and the owner's son came and poured and life was good. I don't know what her problem was, there were only 3 or 4 couples there and 1 of them drove off without being waited on. Not enough local talent to fully staff the place i guess. There were no food trucks when we were there but were heard about them. There was a stage but nobody playing. Hmmmm. I'll give them another try, maybe I was just there on the wrong day. I went on a Saturday.

We were pleasantly surprised with the quaintness of the winery. Great place to go and relax with a glass of wine. The wines have a particularly unusual taste which some people will not be enamored with. virtually no sweet wines.

Went here with my fiancée and we absolutely fell in love with the atmosphere here. The people were so amazing and helpful. They have a lot of types of wines for being open for 10 years. It is definitely worth the drive! Plus they have live music on Saturdays!

We went to the Red Caboose Winery expecting to taste a bunch of overly sweet white wines that Texas is usually known for and we were pleasantly surprised that's not what it was at all! Red Caboose is known for robust reds that reminded everyone is our party of wines we had tasted in Napa Valley CA. They had a few sweet whites and reds for those who like a fruitier wine but for those who like more of a full bodied red, this is the place to go. Our tasting guide did an awesome job and even gave us a second and third tasting of the wines we preferred. Of course you can't miss petting Buddy, the winery dog, and once he realizes you're a dog person, he'll bring you his frisbee! We stayed about 2 1/2 hours chatting about wine, met the owner, bought several bottles to take home and even ended up joining the wine club. There was a $10 tasting fee but that was waived once we joined the club. If you really enjoy wines that aren't sweet and masked with other fruit flavors, don't miss Red Caboose!
