Lovely little Bar, Leon is a lovely man to talk to, Bar has sensible Drknks prices, and the toilets are probably the cleanest toilets i have ever been in on any Holiday.

My twin brother Stephen and I were walking down Avenida Antonio Machado and as temperatures hit the mid 90's we decided to drop into L.A Bar and what a great find.
A great looking bar ,lovely interior ,great decor and furnishings and lots of seating options both inside and outside ,it's just a great bar to chill out in.
We sat outside after getting beers served iced cold to us ,it was lovely watching the world rush by as we enjoyed a delicious and refreshing beer on a really hot afternoon .
We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved of and for a first time visit to here we had a great time.
L.A Bar is easy to locate along Avenida Antonio Machado.
Opening hours are;
Monday go Sunday,7pm till 2am.
Well worth checking out if you're in the area of this sun drenched resort of Benalmádena.

Leon likes his bar simple and it simply works.
We stumbled upon LA Bar one night and it left a lasting on all four of us.
The first point to mention was the price - sensible normal prices
Then the service - nothing was too much bother for Leon
The bar itself isn’t anything sensational but it’s just a homely uk-local styled pub where you are made to feel welcome.
The toilets are possibly the cleanest I’ve seen in any pub anyplace!
We spent a good chunk of money (had lots to drink) in the short time we were in but Leon’s relaxed and attentive care made it a fantastic night. Before we left he sat down and had a caramel vodka with us - this was a nice touch and greatly appreciated.
If you are looking for a nice chill and a drink with friends I’d recommend LA Bar.

Another excellent holiday with many an evening spent with Leon in this great bar. Nothing is too much trouble and drinks reasonably priced. Can’t wait for November to return.

Leon is a great host the LA bar is a friendly place to go to enjoy a few cocktails with good background music, which isn’t overpowering so you can still talk.
A very good selection of drinks all at very reasonable prices. If you want Bacardi you get Bacardi not a similar brand. The bar is set back a bit, next to Weatherspains.
Will definitely be seeing Leon again in the future.

Such a relaxing little bar with a really friendly owner who went to another bar to get me magners when he ran out. Will definitely be back there sometime.

Found this bar a few days into our holiday and it was amazing. Loved the place. Leon always very friendly and wanting to chat ( told us many places to visit while we were there ) very cheap drinks for one of the best Beers in the resort. Excellent service and deserves a 5 Star Review.

I have been visiting this bar for the last several years now, whilst holidaying in Benalmadena, always get a warm welcome from owner Leon, who is always friendly to all customers new and old.
His regular expat customers are also friendly to holiday makers.
Drinks good quality at reasonable prices.
Bar and toilets always very clean.
Well worth a visit.

Sehr coole Bar und der Chef Leon sehr freundlich, Getränke gut und günstiger Preis.

Hi I’m staying at sunset beach club in August How far away is your bar ? Also if I came early evening and left about 9 could I bring a 13 and 12 year old ?

The bar is just past the windmill roundabout, across from the seafront.
If you pass the windmill roundabout and cross the road it is set back from the main road so a bit quieter. There is a mini golf just further along the main road that the kids may enjoy. Not my bar, just a customer however I wouldn't see it being a problem about the kids. Leon who owns the bar is very accommodating. Probably a 20 min walk from sunset beach club, but it is a nice walk along the promenade.

Yes about 3 mins, just in front of your hotel is Santa Ana, walk down the hill 1 min then to the left 1 min and the bar is just up in the square next to the hairdressers.
