I went with my mum on this tour. I was slightly concerned that she may not be able for the cycle, however it was a very easy, down hill ride and suitable for all ages. Would have even enjoyed a little more cycling as the scenery was absolutely spectacular! Our tour guides were great and let everyone go at their own pace. It was a great escape from the populated area of Salou. We learned lots about the area and it's beautiful wineries. Would highly recommend.

Actually, we were staying in La Pineda and were picked up from there.
GREAT half day out and away from the hotel and into the mountains, fresh air and nature. Our group of 11 ranged from 8 years old to 61 (me!!) - and as it's more of a 'glide' than a ride, anyone with cycling experience could/would enjoy this trip.
Manfred and Katherine were informative, professional and FUN. I certainly recommend this trip to all of you reading this and would definitely go back to try their olive oil and wine-tasting tours.
A wonderful half day out - oh and we finished at a lovely local cafe for tapas/coffee/beer or whatever you fancied which was a great way to finish. The tapas are highly recommended - washed down with a xampú ('shampoo') - ask your hosts!!

Katrina and Manfred were the perfect hosts from start to finish! The ride was well planned and led us through the beautiful Catalonian countryside .. the cooperativa producing olive oil was well worth a visit , with a wonderful little shop with an array of amazing local products at brilliant prizes. I would describe trip as “authentic”giving you a real feel for Catalonian village life .. Thankyou both 🤩

A great way to see the surrounding landscape, mountains, and beautiful little villages. Manfred and Kathrin looked after us very well and were very knowledgeable about the area.

This is our second trip with Downhill Bikes, we had great fun and will be sure to return again on our next visit to Salou. Kathrin and Manfred are full of knowledge and good humour. The scenery was beautiful and the roads almost traffic free making for a safe and enjoyable experience.
Visiting the cooperativa was an authentic experience and gave us the opportunity to taste (and buy!) some of the best olive oil in the world for a very reasonable price. The road biking section before this was very long and snaked through the incredible Catalan mountains and countryside, the smell of the pine forest was delightful!
Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area, thank you again Kathrin and Manfred and see you again soon!

Non ce sont des VTT pas de panier. Je n'en sais rien pour le chien dans le sac mais il faut de l'équilibre sur un vélo. Ce n'est pas du vélo extrême mais ce n'est pas non plus de la ballade en vélo de ville.
