I think you are thinking of the fountain in Barcelona with the music and show? The fountain in Salou is not a show, it is just a fountain with coloured lights.

Really want this holiday to be a good one and don't want my children to be put off as it's there first time abroad.

You would have to get a bus ride it costs 2 euros and 2 to get back. Its a lovely experience to go down there. There is some rides there, restaurants and local bars. It's a must.

Hi there, it depends on where you are staying. The bus would be best, it drops off along the front, if you see the Port get off at the next stop, it is the nearest to the fountains. The bus carries on along the front and on to Cap Salou. If you are visiting a lot, or travelling in a group, it would be worth buying a 10 trip bus ticket from the bus Plana. Works out about 1.20 euro per trip. Enjoy your stay.

You can get buses but a taxi might be better in an evening as it’s not too far from Cap Salou
