The trip to Round Top is never, ever complete without a stop here at the mecca of FABULOUS! The Junk Gypsy store is a new adventure every single time we come! We now live over 1550 miles away, but our hearts are still there, amongst the fringe, the fun and the friendly faces! We are planning our return and cannot wait to load up the beautiful unique finds the ladies are famous for! If you visit the tent during antiques week...still plan a stop at the store, sit a spell on the steps, enjoy live music and other surprises! (Is your gorgeous longhorn still hangin out in his pasture?!) The ultimate shopping and visiting experience!!

Can't name one specific "best" feature here as it was all wonderfully delightful! First because I was with my daughter, best friend and her daughter, second because I am fascinated with the sisters and they are friends with Miranda, duh! The beds were amazingly comfortable, each room different and fun, Sally does a wonderful job of cleaning and is a nice lady! The biscuits at 9! oh to die for, the only sad thing was the hours had changed and we didn't get to shop at the store as they were closed Sunday and Monday but I got to see the pink bug! However, we are planning on returning in 2 to 3 years as I heard from Sally there are new venues going up on the property! Can't wait - oh and no TV so nice we played games, drank coffee on the veranda in rocking chairs, so peaceful. I said no to families with kids only because we had a girls weekend - much more fun and relaxing! Up to parents!!

A good spot for ideas but a bit pricey for what is offered. Free People clothing, trinkets, bedding, etc.

I had never heard of Junk Gypsy but my friends were familiar. I enjoyed browsing the large store which had a vast selection and interesting items and furniture on the grounds. I would have preferred less, Junk Gypsy branded products as some items I would have purchased if available without the JG name posted largely on the products. Overall I had a unique country shopping experience in the charming town of Round Top, Texas.

This place is awesome to go through. Everything is a bit pricy though. I get a business has to make money but it seemed a bit overboard. It was awesome to browse through. Worth the trip.

These sisters will not disappoint! Take the time to drive to Round Top Texas. Helpful, friendly staff. Highly recommended!

This was a magical experience. My husband and I have watched all the TV episodes of Junk Gypsies and have been huge fans of the Sikes family for a long time. We spent 2 nights at their Wander Inn. Words simply don’t express the wonder of this place. It soothes your heart and soul! The store is so cool and the merchandise is reasonably priced. It’s a ton of fun.

Went to Round Top with my daughter for a girls' afternoon out. Wanted to see Junk Gypsy to find out about all the fuss - it was fairly easy to find and had some unusual items in it, nothing I could use, but cute stuff. We were a little put off as there were three ladies sitting around a table having, what seemed like, a staff meeting. No one, during our entire visit to this store, greeted us or asked us if we could use help or if we were looking for something in particular. Just seemed unusual as it is supposed to be a really popular stop in Round Top. Maybe they were just too busy. Interesting stuff, though, if you want to stop in.

I’ve followed Junk Gypsy for a long time on Instagram, so I was excited to detour on our trip through Texas to Round Top to see it in person. As expected, the store itself was really cool...tho smaller than I anticipated. Most everything for sale is pricey and there’s not much you can pack into a suitcase and fly home with. I did get a branded t-shirt, tho that is available online.
Be sure to check what else is in Round Top before you go - we visited on a Tuesday and almost everything in town was closed. Looks like Wednesday through Saturday is more popular.

Fun times at Junkapalooza digging through to find the perfect treasures with 3 friends.

These are the only ones we had time to visit but once you arrive, all the vendors are happy to share places and maps of the must-see shops. Actually, we had fun stopping by garage sales along the way!

When you went to Junk Gypsies was it during Antique week at Round Top? I'm thinking of driving there from Alabama during the Antique week. What should I expect? I love Fixer Upper so I want to see their place but the reviews for Junk Gypsy is better than some are reviewing Magnolia. Is it going to be unpleasant to come that week? The last week of March, Antique week. Any tips I can get will be much appreciated as I've never been to Texas before. It's a long drive and I certainly want it to be a fun time.

I'd say Antique's Week is a must! The Junk Gypsies are so much fun! I have been a customer of theirs for over eight years. I've also had the opportunity of making a couple designs for their store and know them on a business level. I love this family. They are true to who they are and haven't changed since being on tv. They are very generous to the community. Round Top is a wonderful place to visit anytime of year. Antique's week is crazy awesome fun! Don't be in a hurry. It's miles and miles of vendors from all over the country. Wear comfy shoes! If you make it, come visit Cache Chic in Bybee Square! Also, you can check out websites goingtoroundtopcom or roundtoporg for more information. I haven't been to Magnolia Market yet, going Thursday! I love both of their styles but I believe they're quite different from each other. Waco is a little over 2 hours from Round Top, hit them both! It would be a great road trip for sure!!
