This facility was closed due to a refrigerant leak from the nearby warehouses. The play ground has been moved to Fresh on Old Jacksonville, about a mile south. No one is allowed in the museum.

Great place for the family. My kids always enjoyed going there, it was great to have "inside activities" when it started raining or got too hot outside.

I'm so sad this place Closed. At least Brookshires moved the playgrounds to Fresh which is AWESOME! What will they do with the animals and cute store?

Nice little museum although they have taken down have the fun of the park being beside it. That made it where you could make a decent half day with the kids. We used to bring a lunch, explore the museum, and then let the kids play. This is a neat museum and is free so it's still worth the visit.

I have met my daughter and grandchildren there many times and they thoroughly enjoy both the museum and the playground. The kids talk about it days later!

Nice little get a way experience for kids and family. Very nice exhibits. My grand kids really liked it as did the adults. Good way to enjoy some time away from home.

This is a wonderful place to go on a rainy day with visiting grandchildren. They love the displays of animals and the covered play equipment as well as the grocery shop.

The BEST playground in Tyler & the free museum was always a neat visit. I heard a rumor they will reopen when they make it safe for children (since the ammonia leak) I hope that's true - my daughter really misses this park!

Its now closed and who knows if it will ever open again. It was always a great place to take the grandbabies. Its a shame that Tyler no longer has this great place to share and enjoy.

Hours: March 1 - Sept. 30: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Oct. 1 - Feb. 28: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
