Great little place to unwind & enjoy the outdoors. The bartender was friendly & knew the products well. The vanilla citrus martini was excellent as was my husband's cocktail - just don't remember the name. The weather was dreary & chilly when we visited but the outdoor heater kept us warm. Definitely a good place to take a break from wine tasting - not nearly as flashy as some of the wineries but well worth the stop.

Knowledgeable bartender. Nice ambiance and seating in the trees. Smaller than expected. Great tasting rum and mixed drinks. Nice place to relax with a drink, no food on-site. Purchased 2 bottles, Vanilla and Aged Run.

With friends, driving by and decided to stop - great decision! Best mojito I've ever had. Bartender was very attentive, explained the rums and drinks on the menu. There is a perfect dual level deck (lower and treetop) to enjoy your drink. Lots of rum drinks to choose from. Bought the chocolates with rum inside - delicious! The vanilla rum was so good I bought a bottle to take home. Hidden gem you should stop at.

Great friendly service. I'm not a big rum guy, but the server explained all products and gave free samples of their rum. We both ordered a cocktail which were surprisingly good. We left with a bottle of their vanilla rum.

Fantastic hidden gem in the Texas Hill Country. Skip the wineries and breweries and head to this place. Rum is some of the best I have ever had. Great cocktails, but the place is awesome. Set under some great big Oak Trees with a great breeze and patio. Stop in try the rum, order a cocktail, and enjoy some of the Great Texas Hill Country!

This is a lovely little place that produces only 3 rums. The Crystal and the Vanilla are both good but our favorite is the aged rum. The “treehouse “ patio is the perfect place to sip a specialty cocktail.

Great outside bar where you can get rum specialty drinks, sample their choices of rum and purchase the one you like best. Their aged rum and vanilla rum are really good and they reasonable priced. The bar tender was friendly and the atmosphere is great. Not to be missed if you are in the area.

On leaving Wimberley for Fredericksburg we saw the sign for the rum distillery. I love rum so insisted we stop (hubby has tunnel vision when driving and is put off by small places where you are on your own visiting) He had nothing to worry about here. Autumn was very informative and even gave us some ideas of places to visit on our road trip. We tried all 3 rums and I didn't feel pressured to buy. I did buy a bottle as I knew once out of Texas I would never get another chance. I know I will enjoy this handmade, hand bottled rum.

This stop was a breathe of fresh air. Autumn was personable, knew the ins and outs of the products. We did our sampling. Cypress Creek makes a very good rum. They also sell rum candy and vanilla. We highly recommend the Travel for a visit.

Great little spot ran by a family. We had delicious samples of all the rum and whiskey and got a drink for our very very in depth tour. We caught them during a 48 hr distilling process and got to watch them check the proof and learn all about every stage of the cook. Very dog friendly.
