My wife and I spent a whole day with Dave and both of us had great fun!
Dave is a very interesting guy. He made so much jokes and we laugh a lot. Of course he is professional and the event was safe. He is a former compective shooter and taught us a lot. As an airsoft shooter, It is easy to handle the real firearms with Dave's assistence. In addition, he also taught me how to aviod shoot low by precise trigger control and not anticipating the shot.
We purchased the Merika kit, which included:
1.50 rounds of sporting clay expierence(by each, as follows)
2.40 rounds of glocks(glock 19, glock 34)
3.20 rounds of Staccato P
4.20 rounds of Sti Edge and another custom 2011(.40 ie 10mm)
5.10 rounds of Sti Edge(.45)
6.90 rounds of AR15(three diffrent model includes KAC SR15. We use red dot to shoot 80 yards object and use LPVO to shoot 300 yards object)
7.10 rounds of AR10
The sun burned that day and Dave provided ice water. Despite the temperature, we had a great time with Dave. He generiously refused the tips. I highly recommend the Zion Shooting Experience.

We had a great experience with Zion Shooting. Dave, the instructor, was very kind and patient, recognizing that I was a first time shooter. He is a very good teacher. The setting of the shooting range is beautiful, something out of an action movie. Highly recommended.

To start with the scenery and location of the shooting range is beautiful - just outside Zion national park and the backdrop is breathtaking.
Dave was everything you could want from an instructor and more - he was methodical and careful in his approach and taught well without being overbearing as a result we had an extremely fun time.
The weapons were high quality and clearly kept in pristine condition and we were allowed the full experience of the guns from loading the magazines to total gun handling - this is unlike many other ranges and is a huge bonus.
Ultimately, if you’re in this area or further afield such as Las Vegas it is 100% worth the journey.

This review is long overdue. We had such a fantastic experience, we still talk about it years later. Our family did this on a whim and we are so glad we did. I really don't like guns but Dave was super safety conscious and such a sweet guy. We loved spending time with him. He is truly passionate about the sport. We can't recommend this experience enough.

Today we had a shooting experience with Dave. Dave is an amazing instructor who knows what he is doing and want to teach you all the ins and out of shooting with a gun.

Amazing first time shooting experience. Dave is a true instructor and teacher. His enthusiasm is infectious. The La Verkin shooting range is beautifully located with massive mountains as background decor.
His recommendation for nearby BBQ joint was also spot on!

We chose Zion Shooting Experience because of all the great reviews. Dave did not disappoint. He makes the whole experience extremely fun. He provides excellent instruction and positive feedback. If you have the opportunity, please take this adventure with Dave.

Book this experience if you want to learn how to handle guns! Absolutly amazing experience we have had today. We really got the time to learn it with good teaching. The shooting was a fantastic experience. Thank you zion shooting experience.

When we contacted Dave to book the reservation, he informed us that there was no shadow of any kind and we very much appreciated his honesty. Be sure to follow his instructions carefully to find the right place because there are no signs. Upon arrival, the first impression was that it didn't look very professional but Dave explained everything very well and we shouldn't have worried. Being from Europe, we have no experience at all with weapons but Dave managed to explain everything. He is not only great with weapons but has the ability to transfer knowledge to others. On top of that, this experience is a whole lot better than an indoor shooting range.

Incredible experience. Far exceeded our expectations. Trust the location they send you as no signs up. We got to use the pistols and ar15s which were suitable for all ages including our 13 year old. It was a really memorable experience and would highly recommend. Dave is such a nice chap, he really was so supportive and encouraged you v kind man. Loved it. We went to come back!!!!
