Small summary of how syrups are harvested and made, with a little gift shop. Overall good intro but definitely smaller Han the other ones we visited. Restrooms are closed.

Unfortunately, i have not been to the farm yet- but their maple syrup is absolutely amazing!!!
My wife used the syrup for glazing a ham- it was fantastic!

We were driving around New England to see the fall color and came by this Maple farm. We decided to stop and see if we could buy some Vermont maple syrup. What we found was a very friendly family, happy to share their life experience with anyone who wanted to learn about the making of maple syrup. Their family has been in the business of syrup for almost 180 years and Glenn gave us, with others who had stop by, a fantastic tour and class on the harvesting and making of maple syrup along with a history of his family. He had pictures of 5 generations of his family working on the farm. He showed us during the tour the equipment, including a piece that he invented, to refine syrup. His knowledge of every aspect of farming and production was incredible and he gave a lively and fun discussion. Also, Glenn answered all questions that we had. After the tour we got to try 4 different flavors of maple syrup and we bought 2 of them! This was one of the best memories we created on our 2 week trip to New England.

Our first visit to a maple farm, and this place was truly fulfilling and worthy of visiting. We had the opportunity to meet Ruth, and she graciously provided us a glimpse of their life at the maple farm. Her presentation was amazing and delivered it well and fun. Their award winning maple products are awesome and available at the store, online, and ships too. Thanks to the Goodrich family for continuing and sharing the sweetness of their trade. One of Vermont’s pride.

Spent sometime here learning about the process of making maple syrup from start to finish. My husband and I were the only ones there at the time and Glen Goodrich spent time with just us. He was very informative and we learned a lot. Some the best maple syrup we have ever tasted.

We were here six years ago and had such an enjoyable visit we decided to return as we are back in Vermont. Luckily for us, Glenn was there again and, like our last visit, we spent a long time talking to him (and his daughter as well this time). They were both so nice and such interesting people to talk with. We were able to ask loads of questions and see so much of the process they do to produce their delicious products. Just wish I could take more home in my suitcase!

The tour guide is #6 of a (so far) 7-generations family maple syrup maker. This is 1 of 2 locations the family is running. This location is run by 1 of the daughters and she provided an outstanding tour on the operation done at that location. She explained the process from start to finish and had lots of examples to show as she described the steps. The store attached to the processing area has all sorts of products for purchase. You can also sample 4 different grades of maple syrup and maple creme.
A really great stop at a small, family business. There’s plenty of parking in an open lot as soon as you pull in and the store door will be right in front as you walk over.

Enjoyed stopping at this sugar house and getting a tour of how the sugaring process works. Equipment and photos on display. The gift shop offers tastings of their syrups, all delicious. Many maple products and some curios for sale. Adequate parking, easy to find.

We loved how personal our experience was and seeing the family tradition. Also, the products they had were really good and we brought some of it home with us. I would recommend this stop over some of the other, larger businesses. It’s also on a great route through Vermont and close to other fun stops.
