Despite being busy, the trails are vast allowing for food spacing from others. Trails are well shaded and get rocky so wear appropriate foot gear. Wouldn’t do it if the ground was wet. Appropriate for children’s 4+. Consider stopping at the nearby winery after your walk.

It was muddy so I did not venture far from the parking lot since I did not have on appropriate footwear. I had a little time away from my caregiving responsibilities in Manassas and I just happened to come across this trail. It was a welcome, serene experience. One of the highlights of my brief trip to Virginia.

It's quite rocky for the first 15 mins. Hard to do unless your ankles are strong and don't have problems with your feet. Its beautiful location, but uncomfortable hike.

It's a great and challenging trail that'll get your quads and glutes working hard! The only drawback is that there are no branches to the path, so you and everyone else on it are on the same track. Go early in the morning to have it more to yourself. After 9am, plan on sharing heavily. Overall a great trail though, and your legs will thank you for the good workout!

We enjoyed a wonderful fall hike along Bull Run. We parked at Hemlock Overlook Regional Park in Clifton and took the yellow blaze trail. It's a beautiful walk through the woods down to Bull Run (stream), then followed the blue trail along the water. We turned off the blue trail to loop back along the yellow blazes to the trailhead. It's was a couple of miles with beautiful fall trees and a lovely walk along the water. We did the hike with our three children, and it was not strenuous. At the end of the hike, we walked over to Paradise Springs Winery, where we enjoyed a picnic lunch and a lovely bottle of wine. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon!

Great place to visit. Excellent walking paths. The blue bells are delightful. All visitors seem to really enjoy this visit. The rolling trails and twisting waterway is very relaxing.

Stopped at the main parking lot (just down the road from a winery. About a half mile hike down to Bull Run. Slightly taxing, but no big deal. Other attractions include a zip line. Nice relaxing visit.

Great place to enjoy the outdoors with friends and family. Well maintained and easy to get to.

Ready for a springtime walk through a gorgeous area ? Breathe in that fresh air and see some beautiful plants and flowers in spring bloom. This is a great place to go for a romantic walk with your honey or take a picnic and sit and enjoy the views. This is such a tranquil area and you can actually hear the sounds of birds chirping, see butterflies in motion and just listen to the sounds of mother earth as she invites you to enjoy her bounty.

Have hiked each of the sections at different times, enjoyed each one. Very peaceful despite the suburban location, no real crowds, esp. mornings/weekdays. Well maintained, would be good for beginning hikers. Portion along Bull Run is the most scenic.
