This place has allowed Duke University to host the MBA Rugby World Cup for years. Thank you for making space for this unique event worth all the complexities of such an undertaking. Despite the mud we had a great tournament and we look forward to next year’s event. Thanks Danville!

Very nice place to go if you are hard core bike rider, great and challenging trails to ride. Right beside the river and very quiet.

Went there many times to park and use the walking trail, also picnic tables and restrooms. I highly recommend it for single or family fun. A birthday party for the grandson in the main pavillion was a pretty good time. If you have a boat, this is where you put it in to the Dan River. Have fun. we do.

Great place to go mountain biking, several different trails to choose from easy to more difficult also a nice smooth paved trail to ride on

Great place to go with family for outdoor fun. Biking, walking, running, fishing are all readily available by starting out at Angler's Park. We also play rugby there, as well.

Anglers Park is a great place for hikers, bicyclists, and trail runners. There is a paved path by the Dan river and many unpaved trails through the hills. The trail system is impressive and has the longest single track mountain bike in the region. The trails traverse creeks and forested hills. If you like trail riding or running, this is the place for you!! Also the casual stroller, dog walker, and hiker will be happy here. There is more to the park such as baseball/soccer fields and shelters for group picnics. I arrived here from out of town and was worried about my car since it was packed full of stuff at that time. It was a safe place to park if you are in a similar situation. I recently learned that there is free Wifi in the park which can be helpful to some. Incidentally, one day I was at this park and on a very windy day- the trees creaked and bent to the wind. I'd stay out of there on a windy day; it seemed unsafe to me. Besides that, I enjoyed this park immensely!
