The Woodlands has been in existence for over 50 years. It has been the most played course in Virginia many times. It is a little shorter than many courses in area coming in at around 4900 yards, but it is very well maintained and challenging. If you like to walk it is the perfect course for you although carts are always available. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the management could not be any more hospitable. (as a disclosure I do work at this course part time, I am making this review at a request of several patrons than are not as familiar with trip advisor)
