Seating 25000 there are bigger stadiums but this is comfortable and modern and filled with an enthusiastic fans. The marching Dukes are over 400 strong and are excellent Lots of tailgating before the game. A good spirit.

Bridgeforth Stadium is a good place to watch a football game. JMU has a great band and a very good football team. The staff was friendly and it was great to have a shuttle take us to the stadium and back to our parking garage after the game.

If you like football, the stadium is great. Outstanding views throughout. Very good food and superb club level seating and food. At half time and at the end of games, the huge and fantastic Marching Royal Dukes perform. They make the place rock, all 450+ of them. There will now be a 2016 National Championship banner based on the Dukes big win in the finals after beating perennial champion North Dakota State in the Fargo Dome.
The stadium is also used for some other events, including commencement activities in early May. There is a parking deck attached to the stadium but most parking is in lots in other parts of campus. Bus shuttles are available for football games and other events.

I attended a JMU football game more to see the Royal Marching Dukes than the game. The place is huge and has to be to fit the RMD (468 members). The game was disappointing, parking is always a problem at JMU and it was 2015. It wopuld have been better in 2016.

Amazing, talented football team. Beautiful campus. Helpful, courteous staff. Clean bathrooms and concessions easily accessible on every floor. Generous leg room in the stadium, with the perfect view from every angle. Plus: Virginia's finest marching band, the MRDs. Go Dukes!
