Nice place, disappointing market on Saturday

The place is nice and is served by nice restaurants and div. Shopping facilities fenced. The market on Saturday was a big disappointment. Unlike before, it is - at least at the end of September - a pure cheap clothing market. No more vegetables, sausage, cheese, suckling pig frying, etc.

Beautiful square

The "heart" of Greve, animated, full of places where you can taste excellent wine together with typical local dishes (or vice versa!). Very interesting also from the architectural point of view. Well worth a visit.

A lively and picturesque square

The triangular shape of the square gives it a special character. It is lined with nice shops and fine restaurants (although the best are found elsewhere)

Not too much to see but start of a great walking loop

Square with lots of shops and bars, a bit of a tourist trap but nice to walk around. It is also where the tourist information is and the start of the 'Slow Road' walking loop is, which goes from greve up to montifioralle and round (takes around 2 hours and some bits are quite uphill). You get some great views on the walk!

Platz mit historischem Namen

Der Platz mit den wunderschönen Arkaden , in dem auch Schwalben nisten, beherbergt schöne Geschäfte , Restaurants und Bars, allen voran die wunderbare Macelleria mit typischen toskanischen Wurstwaren. Schön, dass der Platz den Namen Matteottis trägt, der als standhafter Antifaschist mit Duldung Mussolinis in den zwanziger Jahren des 20Jdt. ermordet wurde und beinahe das Ende der frühen faschistischen Diktatur in Italien bedeutet hätte.Einer der aufrechtesten Italiener.
