OK but feedback ignored

Lovely theatre - would have given more stars but the interval drinks were awful. Glass of wine and a glass of lager had been put out right up against a red-hot radiator - making what should be cold drinks warm.
I mentioned the fact to two people (who seemed to be there in an official capacity) no help/advice was forthcoming.

Great way to spend a night out

2020年2月

Had decided as a group of six to go to the Empire Theatre to watch "The Four Tops"
Having parked up across from the Theatre on the large Car Park (plenty of pot holes)
went for a quick drink in the bar inside.
The place was bursting, it would appear that a lot of people had booked. Only a small venue that is run by friendly volunteers, but well organised.
Prices inside are very reasonable with a limited selection of drinks.You are able to pre-order drinks for the 1/2 time break.
The lighting & sound was really good and the crowd were all joining in having a good old sing along.

Amazing Venue

My wife & I had tickets to see Northern Jazz Orchestra's 30th anniversary show here. We are from out of town, & unsure of what to expect. The theatre is without doubt the best provincial 'little theatre' we have attended; intimate, extremely comfortable seating, nicely ordered & maintained, & with friendly service from volunteer front of house & bar staff; reasonable selection of drinks & bar prices. Lighting & sound engineering were very good, & we will not hesitate to take up a future opportunity to visit, & only wish it was closer to home.

Exceptional Place

Such an amazing place with great customer service and fantastic shows playing, its a great afternoon or night out with friends of family. I have been to shows, pantamine and they have never disappointed.

Superb

What a fantastic production in a really good intimate venue.
Okay the theatre is looking a bit tired but the cast of three delivered a truly amazing performance and we loved it.
Worth every penny!!!
Front of house staff friendly and helpful bar is a good size with plenty of booze options.
Never been to this venue before and so glad we attended.
Well done to the cast you were superb.

Wonderful little theatre

Seen quite a few shows here, all been very good. a bit cramped in bar area whilst waiting to go into the seats. Plenty of room in stalls. Seats can be a bit hard. Every where you can see the stage. Even areas for disabled chairs. Staff are excellent!

Acoustics good, seating good, you can see the stage from all seats without difficulty, not too many steps for the elderly, friendly and helpful staff.

Elvis birthday

Really enjoy my visits to the theatre. I usually go to watch the e. t. a. Elvis tribute shows. The theatre is a lovely building. The staff are friendly and helpful. The theatre is not a big building, but it does have disable access.
