I told them weeks in advance I would need my membership frozen due to a major surgery they said it was totally fine thought everything was great but then I was still charged? I queried this and again was told it was in error and was told I would receive a refund immediately, that was over 5 months ago now.... I keep trying to reach out only to be ignored very disappointed.

Christmas market was a big disappointment considering it costs £5 an adult and £3 a child to enter.
It only consist of around 8 market stalls, over prized toddler rides and no Christmas joy or atmosphere.
A waste of time and money.

Having heat d good things about the Cyclipark I decided to visit on a sunny day and to see for myself what it was really like.
The facilities are really good, the cafe is lovely (nice cake and coffee as you’d expect) and the choice of cycling experience are pretty good. There’s much more than cycling activities too….plenty to do for all the family!!
Except…..give the (mostly young) staff some training. Give them a lesson on how to smile. Get them to be more enthusiastic about the park and what’s going on there. Get them to ask what kind of cycling visitors want to do. Give them training on giving directions and mainline them on Red Bull (not sure how many were nursing Jubilee hangovers…!) so they project some sense of job satisfaction.
However…..the setting is lovely, the choice of things to do is fab and we will be back!!

We went on an open day. It was so quiet when we arrived , no atmosphere. I did not see one advert for the open day and other people using the park had not realised they could have entered as an open day ticket. The site and toilets were clean. Plenty of parking. Took own refreshments. 8 year olds can cycle around the track on their own but id only allow inside tarmac route. The extended tarmac route was closed for other activities anyway. The play park was clean but quiet. The skate park was empty. It says under 8s before 11am and over 8's after. Its very difficult when you are with friends that have children aged 8 and just under 8. luckily this rule not enforced so was okay. Also, it was not busy enough to stop the under 8s using after 11am. The site had lots of signs about wearing crash helmets, but it was not enforced (we wore them). The open day was not well advertised and the booking on line suggested you had to buy family ticket. I would rather have paid more than £6 but able to trial the other carts etc, even if it was just before 12 when they were not being used anyway. The site would be suitable for cubs/brownies etc activity days as you can go round each of the activities.
The website did not explain the activity days very well, so I emailed the cyclopark several times and always received a quick reply.
We also used the BMX track at it was left open (or i guess a customer removed the cones). As there was no sign saying we could not use it, I let my son use the track. After we finished, I noticed staff closing the BMX entrance, but they did not say anything to us.

The park itself is a really excellent facility. It is however completely let down by the incompetent and frankly rude staff. Particularly the management who seemingly do nothing all day!

We visited this week with Friends of ours who live locally. We took a walk from their house to the Cyclopark to save paying for the car park. We visited primarily to use the Playground which was £4.50 for a family ticket. No time limit on the ticket which is fantastic, the play park itself had different sections for the children to explore. With only one entrance/exit gate in/out to the play park it was easy to keep track of the children. We visited the Cafe for drinks, it was £6.60 for 5 cold drinks which I thought was rather reasonable!
We had a quick look at the other areas of the park and was very impressed with what we could see and hope to visit again with our bikes soon.

I bought a skatepark membership here thinking it would be a safe place to learn to skate, but although the park itself is good its availability is very unpredictable. On days when Cyclopark is hosting special events the skatepark effectively becomes an extension of the playground, with the advertised age restrictions not being enforced.
I've noticed that when the cycling circuit is going to be unavailable that's always made clear on the website, but the same courtesy isn't extended to skaters. Special events might be advertised on the park's social media but not mentioned at all on the website, so if you've relied on the website for information you might be disappointed. The skatepark isn't visible from the car park, so if you're making a one-off visit you might not even discover that you can't skate until you've paid and are inside.
If you're serious about learning to skate then Revolution in Broadstairs is a much better option!

Went on the mtb trail with a friend. Its £5.50 with out any bike hire or anything which is what we paid. It was alright not world changing but not terrible. Simply okay. Some tricky bits some fun bits some basic bits.
Only really sad thing is its not that big but what do u expect its only 5.50

I have always enjoyed being a member at Cyclopark, but since the lockdown they have excelled themselves. Great care is taken to keep people safe, and all classes from HIT, kettlebells, yoga to spin are done outside, much better than a stuffy studio and the grounds are a great setting to get exercise and meet safely with friends. The track is also open so an ideal environment to get back into cycling or train to be a track demon and challenge your self on Strava. If you are missing your exercise and meeting with friends for a coffee give it a try. Members only at the moment but at less than £30 a month for as many classes as you like, great value. Give it a try you’ll be glad you did.

Cyclopark offers a really good road track, together with a mountain biking circuit, BMX, a skate board park, and a child’s play area. It also has a nice cafe, serving good food at reasonable prices.
Another item to mention is the gym, which is compact ,but clean.
My only criticism would be that Cyclopark website often offers incorrect information, in that you might want to go on the road track, the website will say it’s open, but when you get there, you might find it’s not open..
The cafe is as I mentioned , nice, but the “ acoustics” are terrible. Get a few kids ( and I’m not anti kid) in there, and you will find it hard to hold a conversation.
Would I recommend a visit ? Most certainly yes. The sad thing is that it is possibly the best cycling facility in Kent, but very few people in the area even know that it exists .
