Horrible experience . Poor hygiene was hit by smell of Bio at reception and was kept waiting for minute greeted by miserable person
After 30 yrs of training I was told by out of shape teenager with coffee stained teeth and bad breath (kristina which i dont think she gave her real name . That i need to answer questions to shadow my 5 yrs old . She was hysterical and had racist tone and seem to enjoy telling me she doesn't think I am fit to spot. Will be back to report her to her manager but wanted to warn others

My son had a fabulous time here last weekend. It was our first visit. However, it was spoilt by receiving a £60 fine for waiting outside the venue for 3 or 4 minutes whilst he asked Reception where else we could park and for another customer to free up a parking space. There is nowhere near enough parking at Harrowall and the advice on the website about the 'limited parking available onsite' should be updated to warn drivers of the 24/7 cameras and hefty parking fines, even for those who don't leave their cars.

Today 12 Sept 21 - The 3 of us had a brilliant day, Olivia made us feel welcome and helped us figure things out. Sarah gave us a great induction and both made sure we learned how to stay safe. Thanks to Francis for booking help the day.before. Look forward to our next visit.
Only challenge is the parking, which I had to wait for.

Received PARKING CHARGE whilst parked in a bay that myself and others double-checked was okay with Harrowall's reception staff. After contacting them, I had the displeasure of dealing with Centre Manager, Chris, who was not only unhelpful, but accused myself and others of having "misconstrued" what he had told us! He then went on to tell me in patronising tone, that he hoped we would "listen more carefully next time".
There wasn't even a hint of any sympathy or acknowledgement that their instructions may not have been completely clear; even though 3 people interpreted these the same way. I couldn't recommend AVOIDING THIS PLACE more highly.

Inconsiderate adults not closing the gate and keeping their children over 3 in the 3 and under play area.
Obviously your responsible for your child however
Definitely not safe young toddlers they are out in the car parking area in no time distance to short this is an accident waiting to happen not safe
Said this to staff member while it wasn’t his fault adults leaving gate open the gate was useless not fit for purpose

Always a great selection of climbing here with plenty of space to explore with a few mates.
Staff are very helpful and friendly.
I recommend this place to pretty much anyone that will bother to listen to me!!

Had to deal with a clearly prejudice staff member. Who was rude & clearly showed favouritism towards those of a Caucasian background, while glaring at minority’s. An example could be shown by a female asking for water and being denied, then immediately turning to a white male from a different group / bubble and served him water In front of us. Whilst we were standing there. And this was only one small example. Other than that I enjoyed the climb as we could avoid interaction with this staff member. Although felt pressured to avoid half the gym walls as it would be in the vicinity of the bar ( staff area)

Love Harrowall, pretty new to bouldering and the staff are always very friendly and welcoming! Massive place, loads of fun problems for people of all skill level, 100% would recommend to anyone!
