We had a great night out here to watch a comedian.
The venue is easily located near to other food/drink establishments and has plenty of parking given it’s accessible from the multi-storey car park too.
Staff were welcoming on arrival and entry was swift with no issues including a typical bag check.
Bar service was a little slow and no alcohol on tap. Though there was service with a smile, I couldn’t help but think they were amused by the number of people splashing out £8 for a single bottle of standard ale! (Definitely get some pre-drinks elsewhere before a show).
I found leg room was a little limited for someone just shy of 6ft resulting in a lot of fidgeting but otherwise comfy and the venue throughout appeared extremely clean.
Seating in the main theatre consisted of fairly long rows in the stalls and the view for us was great (Row R) and far better than expected.
This is a venue I would come to again but would need to be selective around length of the show.

Appaling experience. Theatre top floor of shopping precinct. Loads of walking to get to it. So not easy to get to and poorly signposted a nightmare even if you are not slightly disabled. Ridiculous rules and protocalls. Staff not interested in the consumer experience. Certainly not a venue for music. Seating area claustrophobic. 40 seat rows with no mid way access. Just crazy. £9.00 for a bottle of average beer and they have no glasses asked if people wouldn't mind swigging from the bottle Etc etc Best avoid. Made a terrible experience out of what should have been a nice evening. Saving grace was the act was good but had lost mojo and went home early. Wost Place I've ever been to.

Visited on a Wednesday evening. Parked in peacocks car park and entered shopping centre on top floor, same level as the theatre. Bag checks before entry to theatre will confiscate alcohol. We all went in with our own soft drinks and sweets with no problem. Yes, the bar is expensive, £12.90 for a small glass of fizz, but captive audience if you want alcohol!
We were seated in upper circle which is up one flight of stairs from main entrance level. Sat in EE seats, no obstructions, good view of stage.
Was a really good show, Officer and a Gentleman, some great singing!
My tip would be to wear layers, was fairly warm when we first sat down. By the end of the show AC was full blast, with us grabbing our light scarves to wrap over shoulders!

Extremely expensive bar. £4.40 for a small bottle of pepsi! £7 for a pint. Disgusting! Seats are comfortable and spacious though

Half way through a wonderful show put on for children with communication difficulties our 5 year old grandson had a seizure and stopped breathing.
We managed to get him breathing again and we were amazed with the staffs quick response with their medical assistance and caring professional support.
They were absolutely amazing making a traumatic situation more bearable for all involved. Would like to say a big thank you to Becky the manager and her wonderful team of staff , you all did yourselves proud THANK YOU !
Ps our grandson is doing fine hopefully making a full recovery.

Great shows, good views of the stage. Staff were excellent. The only negative was there was very little seating in the bar area before the show and in the interval

This has become our go-to theatre recently as it's easy to get to by train, 10min walk from the station, and we can usually get good seats (any row between H-K and seats between 18-24). Love that fact that we can take our own interval snacks and drinks, as not all theatres will let you do that. Recently saw 'Drop the Dead Donkey' here, which was brilliant; we laughed so much!
Would advise you not to use the bar (expensive and usually a large queue) and enter by the library entrance if you're in the stalls and have any sort of mobility issue.

This review is of the Theatre, not the show we saw (which was really good). The Theatre was busy on the day of our visit with an almost-full house. One would have though that the number of patrons expected would lead to an increase in the number of staff on duty, but alas this did not appear to be the case. The busy Theatre Foyer was made even busier by the very long snaking queue for the bar. Whilst there I hears several disgruntled would-be patrons put off purchasing by the length of the queue. We didn't use the bar, for the same reason, but if we had I might have needed smelling salts after being told the price of drinks....
When the auditorium opened, we were mis-directed by an incompetent nincompoop staff member to completely the wrong side of the auditorium, having given him our seat & box number. Eventually, after quite a route march, we found the correct seats ourselves and a grudging apology was given. However, when two more people arrived to take up their seats, there were not enough chairs in the box and one had to be procured from elsewhere at short notice. Why sell a seat in advance of a show, and then fail to ensure that seat is ready/exists for the arrival of the patrons who have paid for it?
Sadly these experiences have not done anything to encourage us to visit this venue again, despite it only being 4 miles from home.

Went to see 2.22 A Ghost Story which was fabulous and extremley well acted. Sat in the front row and there is lots of legroom and obviously first calss view without having to strain our necks to see.

Went to see The Peter Pan Goes Wrong Show.
Tried to access the door to the Disabled Toilets - it was locked! Spoke to a member of staff and was told it would be unlocked ready for the interval! Really? That doesn’t seem to be really caring about disabled patrons. If the staff simply cannot be bothered to radio someone to unlock the doors that’s equally shocking.
If the theatre cannot unlock the doors to the disabled toilets in time for patrons before the show starts because it leads to other areas (seating) - then the theatre needs to resite the disabled toilets.
Have a deep pocket for drinks at the bar. A beer, glass of wine, two soft drinks £26+.
Also, parking - it would be better to have some notice boards you can read with information about parking fees in the areas by the lifts. Not everyone finds it easy to use technology. And make sure the machines print a receipt if you ask it to print one!
Would I go to this theatre again? Only if it had a show I really, desperately wanted to watch.

Hi , pls can someone tell me if there is any off road parking or parking that isn’t height restricted .
We have a small work van that we will be coming in after work and it has ladders that don’t come off .
So we can’t use multi story

We have seats in the second row near the stage .
We’ve never been here before but looking at a pic on here the seats looks like we may get neck ache and won’t see much.
Has anyone sat near the stage , shall we see if we can change our tickets for stalls?

Yes there are bags checks but we took in water, coke and chocolate! They saw it all, I think the bag checks are more for firearms etc.

I would get there half an hour before the performance as there is bag checks now. I can't say the finish time as these vary from performance to performance. The theatre should be able to advise on finish time
