This is an excellent dive shop. Heather and Trevor are very professional, friendly and fun. I felt totally safe and well cared for. The boat is fully covered so you can stay out of the sun, the dive sites are beautiful. Trevor takes photos of each dive along with the stats. He emails it to the participants within a day in order to fill out your dive log. And the photos are AMAZING! I certainly didn’t need to bring my GoPro with me, therefore I was able to fully concentrate on all the beauty surrounding me. Their rental equipment looked new and was definitely in top condition. Their shop has all sorts of souvenirs and dive accessories. It is very well stocked too. Lastly the communication before arriving is spot on, and all of the local information in the “guidebook ” is excellent. Download it because if you read it all you will feel quite prepared for your stay. We had never been to Culebra, but the information on their site made it all effortless. Thank you for a great time, we will be back!

Culebra diving is the best. We had a great snorkeling triple and bote partes of the couple in charge of Culebra Diving are great

I’m the snorkeler of a dive/snorkel couple.
I decided to do my DSD (discover scuba diving) here finally after a decade of indecision.
Culebra Divers is the best one could expect. The pre-arrival communication and prep was great, the onshore review and gear fitting with Heather was thorough, professional and friendly, and Trevor was patient, kind, and thorough in the shallow water and discover dive experience. They’re a great team and operation.
I’ve been on a lot of dive boats in the last decade in the Caribbean and if you’re looking to see if SCUBA is for you, this is the place to do it.
My wife is having a fantastic time diving!

Very personable experience- they took time and made sure, scuba diving was fun for everyone. Went out to great reefs. Had full 50 minutes surface time between the dives. Very professionally run. Highly recommend Culebra divers when on the island.

Heather and Trevor run a quality operation. She was informative and helpful in the shop. Trevor guided my son, new to snorkeling, so that he had a truly awesome experience. All the details onboard the boat (and on land, for that matter) were meticulously thought out and adhered to Ciast Guard regs. This is not always the case on Culebra and if one has a care for this sort of thing, choose Culebra Divers. But choose them mostly for putting their best effort into giving you a great time on and in the water.

Excellent group, worked great for our family of 6. Dives were planned out perfect and the pictures Trevor sends after are a fantastic bonus. Definitely will dive with them again!

We had an incredible two days diving with Culebra Divers to get our Advanced Open Water certification. Everything from the booking and communication to the equipment to the instruction was top notch. Even though we have been diving for many years, we still learned some new things and Trevor was a joy to spend time with on the dives. We saw some fabulous underwater life and feel well prepared for our next adventure. Thank you!

Culebra Divers goes above and beyond. From always ensuring you have access to fresh drinking water (and they give you a water bottle if you don’t have one) to giving you access to warm showers with reef safe products after your dive. Their dive equipment is in EXCELLENT condition. They set up and load up all of your equipment for you, but what I really found was so special is that they email you the following day with photos from your dive as well as all the dive information (location, length, etc). I can’t recommend them enough if you are in Culebra!

I was considering buying snorkel gear from a sporting goods store before I left on my trip. So glad I didn't! The gear i rented for $20 per day was top notch. Easy to pick up and "one day rental" means return it anytime the next day, so really its like a two-day. The only thing I would have done differently is to NOT get a set for everyone, because someone always stayed behind on the beach eith our stuff. Flamenco reef was like swimming in an aquarium and I saw a sea turtle!!

Thank you so much for your review! Some of the best snorkeling here in Culebra is right off the beaches so all you need is gear. Flamenco is our most famous beach, but Tamarindo is most popular for turtle sightings and Melones for colorful coral and fish.

do you have to be certified diver in order to scuba dive anywhere in Puerto Rico? if so can you be certified earlier that same day? What is the process? thanks!

You do not need to be certified to dive. You can do a "Discover Dive". It allows someone who is not certified to experience scuba diving. It in itself, is not a certification.
You can get certified with us. It is a 3-4 day process that includes academic work, confined water skills and then 4 open water dives where you practice & learn additional skills and then a written test at the end. Our website has pricing & additional information!
