We signed up for a discover dive and the experience was outstanding! If you're wondering what scuba is like Trevor and Heather give an excellent experience. Factual, calm, encouraging, highly professional they're expertise made a potenially challenging activity pleasurable and comfortable. Several amazing underwater life was pointed out adding to the enjoyment. Highly recommend Culebra divers

Excellent group to dive with, we really enjoyed our time with them. Heather, Doug and Trevor are delightful to spend time with, and their time as guides underwater was relaxing, beautiful. Professional and well organized. This was our 2nd time diving with them, and it won't be our last.

Heather was great helping get my wife and myself fitted for snorkeling gear. She also gave us good tips on where to go to see stingrays, sea turtles, and myriads of colorful fish.

Our family of five and a great experience with Culebra Divers. The dive masters were calm, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We were delighted to get photos of some of what we saw emailed to us that same day. We also got a great family photo from the bottom of the sea ;)

Culebra Divers is a lovely family run dive shop. Heather and Trevor are welcoming and really well organized making the whole experience seamless and comfortable. My husband and I both rented gear (Reg and BCDs) and it was some of the best rented equipment we both ever used. I loved that they provide complimentary photos of your dives each day (including dive location summaries) and go out of their way to make sure they capture at least one photo of you. It’s clear that Trevor has a great understanding of the reefs around Culebra and does a great job at finding the best option for the divers each day. The retail portion of the shop is also very well stocked, with diverse products for divers and non-divers alike.
My only tip, which is also broadcasted on their website, is to book early! The boat can only take 6 divers at a time and can fill up quick.
Hope to return to Culebra and dive with this crew again!

Heather and Trevor make an exceptional team at Culebra Divers. We brought an 18 year old who had no prior snorkeling nor SCUBA experience. They sent her a link for an online mini course and the morning of our scheduled charter, Heather spent 30 minutes with her, reviewing the gear and safety instruction. For a first-timer, she did great in the water. Trevor eased her fear of clearing her ears on the descent and she was able to manage her buoyancy effortlessly. We had fun showing her some of the many creatures of the sea: spotted Eagle ray, shrimp, octopus, sea cucumber, sting ray, eels, and lots of fish.

We really enjoyed our diving with Trevor and Heather. We dove two days (3rd day was cancelled due to weather). My wife and I were the only divers on the first day and were one of only two couples on the second. Trevor was very attentive and included pictures taken from the dive free of charge!

Tristan and Heather with Culebra Divers were awesome! We had a great time diving with Tristan. We found him to be a very knowledgeable dive master and guide! There were snacks and water provided on the boat. He gave great descriptions of the areas we were diving in and the creatures we would see! The dive shop has all kinds of great souvenirs and diving necessities. It is well stocked with essentials. Can’t say enough great things about this operation! We will definitely be back to dive in Culebra with Culebra divers!!

Our captains choose the dive sites each day based on conditions and the experience level of the divers on board. Please see our website for reservation info where you can book online, email, or call us directly.

do you have to be certified diver in order to scuba dive anywhere in Puerto Rico? if so can you be certified earlier that same day? What is the process? thanks!

You do not need to be certified to dive. You can do a "Discover Dive". It allows someone who is not certified to experience scuba diving. It in itself, is not a certification.
You can get certified with us. It is a 3-4 day process that includes academic work, confined water skills and then 4 open water dives where you practice & learn additional skills and then a written test at the end. Our website has pricing & additional information!
