Anyone who thinks they can swim in this lake, which is surrounded by suburbia, must be a bit credulous. However, the aquatic birds like the lake and there are lots of ducks. The facilities are good and the youngsters will like the playground, which has been upgraded recently. By the way, please don't feed the birds bread, it's harmful for their digestion.

Water was murky and dirty. Loud, annoying children everywhere. I didn’t get a chance to play on the slide because it was teeming with dribbling toddlers. They also scared all the birds away, which was the main reason for my visit. Not great for bird photography, my boss nearly drowned trying to swim with the ducks. Don’t come here unless you like small screaming children.

This came up as a 4 star motel, what a joke , 2 stars at most. Rooms need a revamp, bathroom door had a patched up hole in the door.
Kids bikes & scooters litter the car park.
The pool has been filled in and rubbish lying around the BBQ area
Definitely don't stay here

My wife and I visited this place to have a stop for a walk, while on our drive to Yarra Valley for a holiday.
We have driven past this place many times over the years and never stopped before, even though we can see it from the road.
This is a very nice local park that is relatively large, with a lake and a large playground for children.

Until you explore Ringwood Lake, you won't realise the variety of things to explore in this little hidden gem. Playground, walking tracks and places to sit - all make this area worth the visit.

A beautiful place to visit, just tucked off to the side of the Maroondah Hwy a few mins walk from the centre of town. There is a number of walking/cycling paths around the lake and plenty of grassed areas to relax and have a picnic on. You can see quite a number of water birds on and around the lake, which makes it a great spot for the kids to enjoy.

I take my little granddaughter to this play area, and she has a ball on all the play equipment, and she loves feeding the birds and ducks

It is a great park with the playground now looking very impressive. There are shelters, public toilets, walking and cycling trails, and many ducks. I was impressed how many photographers were out trying to get duck images on this morning. The park's trails are good and link up with the Mullum Mullum Creek Trail and others alongside the railway lines.

It is very close, just 400m away, East along the Maroondah Highway. You exit the station by ground or overhead to bus stops on Highway and then walk East (away from the city). You cross a major road and then you are there.
