Fantastic place for a 11 y.o. birthday party. Not the high powered paintball - but Splatball - so less intense and the guns are manually loaded and pumped for each shot - so appropriate for their age.
There is a VIP deal you can sign up for that makes the price per head cheaper by $10 which was worth it for a party of 12 kids. When ringing up to book - the office was very helpful and assisted with arranging a time slot that would only have the same aged children in the session (good as you don't want them playing with older teenagers or adults).
Safety gear is provided and there is a safety briefing before the kids got started.
You take your own food and there are tables and bench seats available for use. WSP recommend that you order pizza from a particular supplier and there is a special deal for large pizzas including free delivery. So all we had to bring was some bottles of water and fruit and chippies.
Great session had by all - recommended!

Had a bucks affternoon there, great fun, highly recommend. Easy to organise, great facilities. A group of 10-15 is about right for the venue size, very wellorganised.

I was part of a bucks party at the paint ball centre. Upon arrival we were promptly signed in, given our safety briefing and provided with all required equipment. Within our group, we split into two teams and I assumed we would go into the field from there. For whatever reason our group was paired with two other groups; making the total participants in each game in excess of 35. This created two issues 1. It was difficult to participate because the small fields don't provide enough room to adequately move around without being 'shot' and 2. We lost the personal touch and camaraderie of our own bucks group because of the 20 or so other participants.
Once the games started, it was certainly quite enjoyable (except for point #1 above). The only concern I had was the games were over so quickly. It felt like we spent more time waiting or on a break than actually playing. Maybe this was to encourage us to purchase more 'ammo'.....we paid for two hours of play but maybe played for 45 mins (at most).
The staff at the venue were great. They answered all questions, ensured everyone was acting safely and after a while they started to interact more with the group.
From a price perspective, it was on the high side. For two hours of play, 600 paint balls and a couple of extra pieces of safety equipment it cost roughly $90.
Overall, I walked away slightly underwhelmed. It's probably not something I would rush back to but I'm certainly glad I tried it out.

Very fun and safe for the splatball. I went with family and friends and my 9 year old cousin to my 80+ year old grandfather was able to do it as the instructors were good and the way that the arena was built meant that it was safe. They where able to accommodate all of us in one session which was nice was because it meant that we were able to have fun playing against each other instead against people we haven't met. As previous reviews have said it works best when you go in a group of people. The only thing I would do next time is go early in the morning when floor is clear of paintballs, it would just make running a little easier.

Great way to spend a day with friends. Best to go in a group of 10 or greater however they can accommodate smaller.
