Awesome crew who made the best day ever!
We snorkelled & dived with manta ray’s, reef sharks, turtles & and an amazing variety of colourful fish amongst coral reefs.
Lunch , morning tea & afternoon tea provided as well .
This experience is not to be missed when visiting Coral Bay - although it may seen expensive it is worth every dollar & if you don’t do it you are missing out on the best part of Ningaloo.

We saw so much marine life including 8 mantra rays barrel rolling, 5 reef sharks, a white tip shark, 5 turtles, leopard shark, dolphins plus lots of fish! We got so lucky and the crew were so lovely and informative. Incredible day, highly recommend this tour❤️

Great reef! Great crew! Myself and my 3 kids are divers, but my husband snorkels….so nice to be able to do it all together! However, I would say that it caters a bit more toward the snorkeling. Excellent effort to find a Manta Ray for us to snorkel with. Wish we could have dove with it! Good lunch and nice boat! Gorgeous corals!!!!!

We had such an amazing dive on the Navy Pier Dive with Ningaloo Reef Dive. The guides were so good and made sure we had the best experience possible. I highly recommend this awesome company!

Very professional organised. Ningaloo reef is a perfect dive spot for beginners as it's quite swallow and very near to the shore. The underwater fauna is amazing. . Our group was small, only the 4 of us.

It was amazing, the crew was so friendly, helpful with the kids in the water. Saw so much marine life, turtles, sharks, manta rays and dolphins. The coral landscape is unforgettable.
Onboard photographer was amazing and well priced, 200 photos of the whole day for $65

We joined the Manta Rays snorkeling excursion and it was awesome! The crew was excellent, while being a lot of fun, they were very professional and shared their knowledge with the group. We swam with 3 Manta rays and saw a dozen grey reef sharks at the cleaning station. We also saw tiger sharks eating a turtle (from the safety of the boat) . It was a very worthwhile excursion that I recommend.

We had an amazing day out in Coral Bay! I enjoyed both dives in this incredible reef as well as the snorkelling with Manta Rays. We even were so lucky to spot a leopard shark! It was a simply awesome experience and the tour was very well organized from start to end. Thomas, the guide for the divers, has a great personality and made me feel really safe and well-prepared since I was refreshing my license after a couple of years of not diving. Everything that was needed was provided including a delicious lunch. I highly recommend this tour operator. If you don't go out there, you re missing out! Coral Bay was my absolute favourite on the West Coast :-)

Do you have to pay and do a tour to snorkel at coral bay ningaloo reef? Or can you bring your own snorkel and explore for free? 2nd question is the ningaloo reef accessible from the shore or do you have to go out on a boat to reach it??

Coral Bay has excellent coral within swimming distance from the shore. The tours take you to very special places though. The northern arm of the bay is a nursery for the harmless reef sharks and well worth a look.

There were people free diving but not around the manta rays and yes it would be ok just to wear your costume as people were doing Just that ok our dive

is it possible to just swim at the shore to see the manta rays? or is it neccessary to book the package tours?

You have to book the tours because they are not easy to spot and they use special planes for that.

Can you dive and snorkel with whale sharks or just snorkel? Do boats take snorkelers and divers on the same boat? Planning a trip next May/June

The whale shark encounter tour is snorkel only. We visit two different snorkel spots on the reef and of course the main event with the whale sharks.
We do offer SCUBA diving on the reef and snorkelling on the same boat for the manta ray interaction tour that operates all year round.

yes we provide you with 3mm long or short wetsuits for snorkelling and 5mm long or short for SCUBA diving. If you tend to feel the cold, let the crew know so we can provide you with a few more layers and even hoods. The temperature of the water right now is 23 degrees and hopefully will be climbing for summer time.

What is the diving like in February? I understand that the weather can be stormy - does this effect the ability to dive and the dive experience?

You may have heard that the weather is stormy because it is our cyclone season during that time. However the diving can be exceptional. When the weather is sunny and hot and no wind the conditions will be fantastic for diving. We dive all year round in the shallows of the coral gardens with a maximum depth of 10m. The visibility averages 10-12m. Dependant on the cycles of the tides, we will assess the environmental conditions of the day to find the best dive site for you.
