Had to stop here, wife has a sweet tooth and I guess so do I as I chose the boxes to buy.
Chocolates galore plus much more.
Tastings available and tour if you wish.

Disappointed because the cafe side with the gelato and fun bathrooms are closed. I’ve been here before in 2019 and had a fabulous time, so I know what I’m missing out on.

The chocolates here are amazing, they are expensive but you get what you pay for.
Due to covid restrictions they tell you they will give samples as you leave rather than as you enter. We did have to ask for them though when we left, not sure if that was because we had bought some things that they thought we wouldn't want the samples, but otherwise very pleased with our purchases,

Visited twice whilst visiting Kerikeri, very beautiful delights. Staff very helpful, professional and friendly. Loved the treats we brought. Lovely tasters, so nice. Will definitely be a regular when we move near them.

They have a cafe next door with gelato and cafe menu.
We were very excited to go for brunch, waited about 45mim to get our food !!!! Staff doing a bit of everything... not very organised... you get your drink pretty quick but have to wait for 35min to get your food ridiculous... their excuse “we are busy” !!! Won’t be going back that’s for sure and the food wasn’t even worth it ....

Well worth a visit if you're driving past, but not worth making it a destination. The confectionary is very good, but it is expensive.

They have enough of a range to suit most people's tastes. How about chocolate with Ginger? Or, one of my all-time favourites, rum-and-raisin. Heck, they even had sugar-free chocolate!
As you'd expect from a boutique place that hand-makes all its products to the highest quality standards, then packages it in the most luxurious-looking boxes, their products are not cheap.
Being a chocoholic, however, I still consider it a bargain!

10/10 for beautiful chocolates also the cafe has some wonderful items The ice cream is good to the only place to get chocolate dipped apricots

Like all non-essential businesses Makana is closed until further notice. Hopefully when this crisis is over we can reassemble the team and return to the work that we all love.

This place is exceptional the food is always exceptional the coffee is the best in Kerikei,and we've been every where. A great place to visit for breakfast or lunch. The chocolate is unreal.So is the ice cream.
