Dog Run Paradise
2021年10月
This place was great. Next time we travel here we plan to park the RV here. Drove on the beach every day picking up agates & sand dollars. Dogs loved running on the beach.
Best advice stay off the dry sand. Only drive where others are & watch the depth you are sinking.
Amazing the 100+ people out here at evening/night hunting for Razor Clams.
Bikes ride on this also. Get out and walk. Lock your cars

This as a great beach, loved that you could drive on the beach! Shallow surf and great for kids. Kites were a big hit too!

Nice Place to Stay In A Yurt at the Ocean
2020年10月
We've lived all over the U.S. and camped/visited at numerous state parks. I can tell you definitively that this park is one of the nicest state parks in the country. It is clean, well-maintained and located in a very nice place. The camp sites (tent and RV) are secluded and well cared-for. The restrooms and showers are also. We stayed in a very nice yurt - difficult to get a reservation - and were warm and cozy during a nighttime storm off the ocean, which is a short walk away thru the dunes on a well-maintained trail. Don't drive on the beach access road as it is not part of the park and has a lot of soft sand. A 4WD would be OK probably. You can drive on the beach, but stay off the clam beds. Get your reservation in at least four months in advance of Summer. This wonderful park is very popular.

Great beach campground
2020年9月 • 家庭
Great clean and tidy park on the beach. Our sites have electrical and water connections and were a driveway rather than a pull through. There was a picnic table and room for a tent.
Bathrooms and showers were nearby, both individual rooms rather than stalls
The beach is immediately over a small dune but you have to walk quite a ways to the water which would be tough if you were pulling a wagon with toddlers

Note that cars are allowed to drive so you may seem some around the water where the sand is firmer

Razor Clamming
2020年2月
We went to the beach to dig some razor clams. It wasn't hard to find a place to dig, just look for the crowd. We had a blast digging clams and playing in the surf. The clam "show" was great and we limited out in no time.We didn't camp, just the beach.

Lovely State Park
2019年11月
Having grown up just a stones throw from this State Park, I am a bit biased - but I love this park!! If you're looking for a quiet get away, fresh salt air and exhilarating walks on the beach, this is the place for you! Their yurts are fantastic and surprisingly comfortable - most of the creature comforts of home! The park is well maintained and the spaces give you a nice, private feeling - we really appreciate the private restrooms and showers in the newer section of this campground. Don't forget to explore the area while you're there . . . cranberry bogs, great shopping,The Tokeland Hotel and Restaurant (a personal favorite), and the Tokeland docks where you can buy live crab (in season) or stop in at Nelson's for crab or shrimp cocktails and their delicious smoked salmons and clam chowder!

If you need to relax or get away go here!

We stayed at the Grayland Beach State Park for our 6th year anniversary, it was very relaxing with friendly people camping near by. WE stayed in their Yurts and enjoyed it a lot. The beach is right there and they have nice little beach trails for easy access while also informing you about the wildlife and how to avoid damaging their homes :) the park is dog friendly you just have to keep them leashed and the pet deposit on the yurt was very affordable. The staff were super nice and helpful making your stay worry free! You can get ice, firewood and snacks at the check in building but it is open only certain hours of the day. The only complaint I really have is the shower tokens which you had to purchase to take a shower (3 for $1.00). One token was supposed to be 3 minutes of hot or cold water, the water never really got hot it was more Luke warm and said token only really gave you like 90 seconds. It took me 5 tokens just to get the sand off and wash my hair (I have very short hair). Other thank that everything was awesome and we will definitely be coming back regularly ^_^ call and make your reservations ahead of time, they do not do same day reservations it's first come first serve to whatever is left.

Beautiful Campsite
2019年8月 • 家庭
By far the nicest campsite and beach on the Washington coast. All the campsite a nicely private. The campsite is very clean. Bathrooms are very well kept and all individual use. The beach can get quite long if the tide us out and can be a long walk to the water. But if you have a truck there are 3 entrances you can take to get onto the beach.the beach goes for miles and you can pick your own private Oasis. The grayland state park entrance is the most sandy but the other 3 have a harder path to the wet sand. Love this place

Our Favorite State Park in WA!
2019年7月 • 夫妻情侣
My husband and I spent another relaxing week in our trailer at this state park by the beach on the Pacific Ocean. It's a well kept, clean park with friendly employees. There is a newer section that contains yurts you can also rent. The newer area has at least several buildings containing private restrooms and private showers. The older section could use updating, as there is only one restroom for many sites....possibly 6 loops of 7-8 sites each. The women's has 3 stalls and there is one shower. I expect the men's is the same. Pretty sparse and not nearly as nice.

Great for families (if you're not scared of tsunamis)
2019年5月 • 家庭
We stayed in a yurt with our 3yo and labmix, and the accommodations and facilities were great. Our yurt (79) was located right by beach trail one and not more than a min walk to the bathrooms/shower. Inside, the unit has a nice heater and electricity (we should've brought our electric kettle for coffee and cocoa!) and a skylight where you can watch the stars. The bunkbeds and queen-sized futon gave some different sleeping options. I'd advise on a foam mattress or egg crate if you like comfy beds and don't forget pillows. Outside, there's a fire pit and picnic table, and a parking pad large enough for two cars. At night, you can hear the ocean while staring at a fire.

The walk from camp to the beginning of the sand dunes is short - maybe 5 mins - but then to get to the ocean, you have to walk another 5-10 mins across the sand. The beach is expansive! We lucked out with good weather one day so we had beautiful blue skies and white sand beach to hang out on. The other day, it was cloudy and overcast which made for nice walking weather. The beach is so large that even on a "busy" Memorial Day weekend, it felt empty. Sunsets are unbelievable as there is so much open beach and sky. I'd recommend bringing kites and a frisbee. Some people were burning fires on the beach, but not sure what the protocol on that is.

All in all, very relaxing and beautiful. There aren't many campsites around the yurts so we didn't have the overcrowded feeling at other parks. No light pollution so you can see the stars. The only thing you may have to deal with is the sound of people racing cars on the dunes - at least that's what we thought we were hearing the second night. (You can drive your car onto the beach, but we didn't.) It's also not a far drive from Westport, where there's a good brewery (Blackbeards), fish and chips (Bennett's), and ice cream, etc.
