Fun shop, local artisan. Many lovely gift and home decor ideas. Beautiful treasures for home and gifts. We were there on a Sunday.

Langley is lucky to have this interactive venue in the heart of town. Glassblower and owner Callahan McVay is more than happy to help you blown your own glass piece (I've done a pumpkin and a Christmas ornament). Fun to watch -- even more fun to participate!

Firehouse Studio has long been my favorite place to escape to on a kidless weekend. There is nothing like the feeling of blowing glass into something beautiful. On my last trip there in October, Callahan recommended I bring my kids (12 and 14). I was initially apprehensive about the idea, but he assured me he was experienced working with them and more importantly, when I mentioned the idea to them, they were ecstatic! So yesterday, the three of us went for their first glass blowing. I was so impressed with how well Callahan and his assistant worked with the kids. Not only did they do a great safety orientation with them, but they guided, engaged and empowered them every step of the process. Callahan also managed to work science and history lessons into the experience. They had an amazing time and can’t wait to go back! Thank you Callahan and team.

Even without a class this shop is so awesome. The artwork is incredible. The large pieces are spectacular and there are a lot of intricate small items that you can purchase as gifts or souvenirs. The staff are very friendly. And then I got to take a class! I actually got to hold the rod in the furnace and turn it and cool it. What an amazing experience!

Callahan’s art is beautiful and the fact that the place was a a firehouse gives it a nice vibe. It was nice to have the glass blowing class (aprx 40 mins). I was amazed of how hard and difficult was to be close to those ovens! It was so coolto see all those colors blending together and forming a flower pot !! It was a very nice experience to take the class and bring with me the piece he helped me create. It’s important to know that once the piece is done you can not take it with you until the next day but they can mail it to you too!!! Thank God I had the next day availble too . It is a 90.00 class but you do your own piece and you go through the experience.

Glass studio and gallery that is open to the guests. One is able to create their own item or purchase ready made.
Quality of glass items excellent. Beautiful pieces for the garden and home. Friendly folks running the establishment.

It’s located in a former fire station. It’s hard to miss with the doors wide open. We bought some pieces and had a nice talk with the owner about his business. We’d like to come back and try our hand at glass blowing.
