When visiting towns in our travels, we try to check out a local bookstore and purchase a few titles. The Writers' Workshoppe was a great stop during our exploration of the shops in downtown Port Townsend, and we spent a leisurely half an hour browsing the shelves and looking at the staff recommendations. The shop is not large, but it had a decent selection of popular and local titles and we found a few books to walk out with.

I came here last May while on a weekend whale-watching trip with my mother-in-law, and it has been niggling at my brain ever since. Beautifully curated selection of books and other goods for sale, with sly nods to writerly folk (Among other gems, I bought a T-shirt reading “Careful, or you’ll end up in my novel”). Saw the cozy writing room and just wanted to move IN—or at least, stay awhile. A good, long, long while. The British woman on staff the day I browsed was kind, knowledgeable and very welcoming—great vibe in this shop!

It's a shop, it's a workshop, it's a bookstore. I love this place. Although I did no writing this time around, I did enjoy the shop for it's books and gifts. And for those of you who have writer's block, they have writer's block chocolate and coffee! A great visit.

I had been toying with a similar idea and was pleasantly surprised to see it all rolled out here in Port Townsend. A place to retail my books and all the swag that came with it. Visiting this unique 'writer work-space' has renewed my desire to bring my dream to life. This unique bookstore is also a work space for writers and poets, and host creative writing workshops with visiting faculty.

This is a fabulous bookstore. It carries books of all genres and for all ages. I was able to find a children's book in both English and Spanish, as well as books I wanted to read. They also carry a wide assortment of tee shirts with famous quotes and book-worthy sayings. I had never been to this bookstore before, but I will definitely put it on my 'must visit' list for next time.

I was looking for a particular book on a Montana national park, and although they didn't have the book in stock they ordered it for me and it arrived the next day! Awesome service, and faster (and cheaper) than Amazon.

Wander in and enjoy this great little shop! You'll get some amusing words of wisdom and discover writing- and book-related uniquities. I was rather dismayed that their postcards with clever sayings now cost $2 each.

Small but perfect little bookstore! Nice mix of books and some gift items. Also has a meeting space to boot! We were there when it had only been one week in the new location. We will definitely return.

Great titles, clever gifts and geared for wannabe writers. They also offer interesting speakers and workshops and have book signings. Unfortunately, we were only there for the day, or i would have tried to get into a workshop. My Favorite mug for sale: "Revise-you know you want to".
