The facility is beautiful, and there are great attractions for the kids. They have great instructors like Donna for those who need lessons. The competition pool was clear and, unfortunately, cold. I have snorkeled in the inter-island channels off Maui in 75-76 deg F water, and the comp pool felt the same. It did not feel anywhere near 80 deg. I was telling someone about this, and they said they stopped taking their kids because it was just too cold--and that was the recreational pool, which is supposed to be 82 deg plus. I hope the school district raises the thermostat a little.

I love to swim! I've swam at almost all the local pools. They all have something cool but Snohomish Aquatic Center is the gold standard. They have everything! A recreation pool, kiddie pool, lazy river, flow rider, hot tub and a separate pool for laps. They offer water fitness classes. I've gone lots of times and I'm never disappointed. I've taken the shallow water and deep water fitness classes. They were awesome! I've swam laps in the lap lane. It's a little cooler temp but very nice. The open swim can get a little chaotic but's it's a lot of fun. The showers are clean, have hot water, and are complimentary. The lockers are not coin-operated, you just bring your lock. You also need to bring your own towel and shampoo. The price isn't too hard on the wallet either. Snohomish Aquatic Center is the gold standard for public pools.

This pool is fantastic on so many levels. Great place to take kids of all ages-so many options, love swimming in a salt water pool. Lap swimming is great as they keep the competition pool cooler, extremely clean!!!!

place is new, well done and lots to do. water is not as warm as most would probably prefer but not freezing. bring a towel, lock and some snacks so you don't have to buy from them. The inflatable play structure is very fun and pretty unique for an aquatic center. Lazy river is small but cruises, water slide is fun and line moves pretty fast. Be aware that you have to pay extra for the surf simulator but is is well worth the money for those that have some athletic ability(older kids love it), money may be wasted on kids under about 9. Hot tub was cold and unusable when we were there but it is reasonably sized(my guess is that it is always at max capacity considering the temp of the rest of the water). For those wanting to book a party here, i would say it is not necessary to reserve a party room/package. Just go and wait in line to get in as a group and save yourself a bunch of money. we were not told that even if they are at capacity they do let people in as others leave so you will not have to wait for long if that situation arises.
There really is very little to compare with here in the immediate metro area. Great wolf lodge definitely beats it but at a huge time and money cost. The seattle area ymca's have multiple aquatic centers that come close but do not surpass this place. Even wild waves does not compare, since it is not year round, costs a lot more and has huge lines.

We held our son's 5th birthday party here. First, it was very clean. Second, the staff were wonderful to work with. The birthday party rooms are great and keep your party on a decent time schedule. Then, everyone can go play in the pool. Simply awesome!

What a fun place! With their lap pool, open swimming, river pool feature, water basketball, giant slide, and even a surf pool, this is a very fun place to go for everyone, any time of year!

We've done lessons, homeschool swim, and open swims here. It is very popular (read: crowded) on the weekends, but during the week it isn't too bad usually and they have preschool beach swims for little kiddos. Lifeguards are friendly and attentive.

The Flo Rider is our teenagers big attraction and makes it worth the drive down from Vancouver. It does get busy so consider going on Thursdays Ladies Night and you'll have the pool pretty much to yourself (if your are in fact, a lady).

I mainly went there to try the Flowrider, and it was really fun! They also have a small enclosed water slide that is pretty fun, and all of their water is saltwater except the Flowrider- still feel the chlorine burn in there
